"Kasi ano, e, nirespeto yung pagkatao ko. So I’m just really paying tribute to the man who loved me unconditionally," she shared.

Despite their 24-year age gap, Charo emphasized that this never hindered their love for each other from growing.
She even calls Cesar her inspiration especially when she began operating as president of the Kapamilya network.
"I guess he's a selfless man, and he was very, very happy for my successess. Yung ganung klaseng asawa ay di madamot," she stated.
"Nirespeto niya yung pagkababae ko, yung pagkatao ko.
"He allowed me to pursue my dreams. He allowed me to fly.
"He allowed me to commit my mistakes. He still loved me unconditionally."

In academia, Cesar became a member of the University’s Board of Trustees in 1971 and became Chair of the Board for nine years, starting in 1972.
Under his leadership, the Board greenlit the university's historic decision to embrace coeducation.
This groundbreaking move in June 1973 welcomed the first female undergraduate students to Ateneo de Manila — a transformative moment that reshaped the institution's educational landscape for current and future generations.
Furthermore, Cesar played a crucial role in revitalizing the institution's financial stature.
Fromo 1971 to 1975, he took the top seat of the Ateneo Alumni Association as president, and was previously named one of the Philippines’ Ten Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) in 1965.
In business, Cesar led many companies, including Filsyn Corporation and Franmar Corporation.
