Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion treated their daughter KC Concepcion to a special number that she would cherish: being together once again as a family just as they were decades ago.
Their touching reunion took place during the Dear Heart concert held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Saturday night, October 27, 2023.
Sharon asked KC to join them onstage and explained that this was the wish of their only daughter.
The Megastar explained her song choice by saying, "I have a song for KC, you [referring to Gabby] have a song for KC.
"Usually this song is a love song for weddings, for someone you love. Tonight, I will sing it for my eldest daughter. I have four children. I do not have three. I have four.
"The first child to come and make me feel like a mother was this not-so-little girl beside me. She made my life complete. And if there's anything that I regret..."
At this point, Sharon closed her eyes and paused while looking at KC.
KC then said, "Tigilan niyo yan," when she saw that her mother was becoming emotional.
Sharon continued explaining her biggest regret, "Sorry, we couldn't give you that complete family. But you have two families that love you.
"But Papa and I we never stopped loving you. You were never the problem."
KC told Sharon, "I love you" and Sharon said back, "I love you."
Gabby asked the two of them, "Okay na kayo ha?"
The former matinee idol said with a smile, "Makita ko lang silang okay, okay na ako. I'm happy."
KC quipped, "Mag-iintertwine na nga ang daliri niyo, Pa, Ma."
Sharon pointed at Gabby ang said, "May crush sa akin yun."
KC responded by saying, "I know. Kunyari ka pa, Pa."
Gabby walked away from them to get some tissue for Sharon.

DREAM COME TRUE FOR KC
KC then told her mother, "Ma, ang tagal nating magkasama, tayong dalawa lang."
Sharon said, "Oo nga, kaya nga sabi ko, pagbibigyan kita.
Gabby returned and used tissue to wipe away tears from Sharon's face, causing fans to cheer upon seeing their idols being sweet. Sharon told Gabby, "Thank you."
KC admitted, "Grabe para naman akong nasa isang panaginip."
Gabby and Sharon talked privately for a bit while Gabby put his hand on Sharon's back.
KC teased them, "Naku, ano kayang nangyayari diyan?"
Sharon reprimanded her daughter by saying, "Ikaw, Marites ka, Tsismosa yan, eh!
Sharon then introduced her next song by saying, "This is for you."
The Megastar then put her hand under KC's chin and sang the song "Ikaw."

ONE FAMILY FOR A NIGHT
Halfway through the song, Sharon cried and put her head on KC's shoulder while KC continued singing and hugged her mother.
KC then joked, "Teka lang, moment ko ito. My gosh! Ang sarap niyong makita together sa isang stage."
She hugged her father and proceeded to sing with her mother.
When their song ended, KC and Sharon hugged each other tightly. Sharon addressed her ex-husband and said, "Sumali ka na nga dito. Ginawa natin ito, e."
Dear Heart is the title of the 1981 blockbuster film of Sharon and Gabby.
The two started dating while filming the movie.
On September 23, 1984, Sharon and Gabby got married and together, they raised their daughter named Kristina Cassandra, popularly known as KC.
In 1987, Sharon and Gabby separated and their marriage was annulled in 1993.
