Kaila Estrada is currently basking in the overwhelming wave of positive feedback she's been receiving for her recent projects.
The 27-year-old model-actress is part of the Prime Video series Linlang, in which she portrays Sylvia, a character who discovers her husband Alexander (played by JM de Guzman) is involved in an extramarital affair.
Since the series premiered on October 5, 2023, Kaila's scenes have gained significant traction and have become viral sensations on social media, especially on TikTok.

On Thursday, October 19, 2023, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) caught up with Kaila at Sunnies Arcade, located at Studio 300 in Makati City.
During the interview, Kaila admitted that she wasn't sure how the audience would react to her portrayal in this more mature role.
She said, "I'm so grateful kasi I wasn't sure if people were going to accept that I was, you know...
"Hindi ko kasi alam kung paano sila magre-react knowing that it's a much more mature role for me, you know?"
Nevertheless, she expressed her overwhelming gratitude for all the positive comments she has received regarding her performance in the series.
"So, I'm so happy na hooked sila sa Linlang, first of all kasi pinaghirapan namin lahat doon. We're all very proud of it.
"So, nakakatuwa lang na mabasa yung tweets at yung reactions nila.
"Talagang sobrang invested sila sa kwento. And yun, I really am just so happy na they like Sylvia. They love her as much as I love Sylvia."

KAILA ESTRADA: FORGING HER OWN PATH
Many fans have noticed that Kaila inherited her parents' acting talents from Janice de Belen and John Estrada.
While this recognition brings its own set of expectations from viewers, she uses it as her motivation in forging her own path in the industry.
"My parents, I always say this in any interview, yung journey naman nila sa industry is different from mine.
"So, we're really not gonna be the same, di ba? Like, I'm my own person, I have my own strengths, and my own weaknesses, as well.
"So, tsaka sila kasi, they've been doing this for many, many years. And I still have a lot to learn, a lot to improve on.
"So, I'm just happy na so far, the responses have been positive naman."
KAILA ESTRADA: NEW GENERATION OF KONTRABIDA
Sylvia is just one of the many kontrabida roles she has portrayed since she began her acting career.
Is she concerned about being typecast into these roles?
Kaila answered, "I'm not really worried about it kasi even if I do get more kontrabida roles in the future, I feel like I have a lot of fun with it.
"And I'm just glad that they enjoy the characters that I've portrayed in the past. And that, um, yun lang.
"I'm really just happy na talagang natukuha sila sa mga characters na ginampanan ko. And I hope na even in the future, magiging ganun yung responses."
In addition to her portrayal of Sylvia, Kaila is also prominently featured in Can't Buy Me Love as Bettina, the half-sister of Ling, played by Belle Mariano.
Similar to her role in Linlang, Kaila's performance in this Kapamilya primetime series has garnered praise from netizens.
Kaila conveyed her appreciation to the Kapamilya Network for entrusting her with these significant roles.
She said, "Yeah, you know, thank you so much, pinagkatiwalaan niyo ako, especially with roles like that, na talagang very, like, impactful, di ba?
"So, I'm just very grateful and honored to have been a part of these projects. And that they have faith in me. And that they trust me with these roles.
"And, I will not disappoint. I'll try my best!"
