Gozon retires, Duavit new GMA CEO Jan 2024

Magreretiro na si Felipe L. Gozon bilang Chief Executive Officer (CEO) ng GMA Network, Inc.

Inanunsiyo ito ni Gozon sa mismong selebrasyon ng kanyang 84th birthday na kasalukuyang ginaganap sa Isla Ballroom ng Shangri-La Hotel nitong Sabado ng gabi, Disyembre 9, 2023.

Kasabay nito ay inanunsiyo rin niyang simula sa January 1, 2024 ay si GMA President and Chief Operating Officer Gilberto R. Duavit Jr. na ang tatayong CEO.

Mananatili naman si Gozon bilang Chairman of the Board at Adviser.

Bahagi ng pahayag ni Gozon: "The GMA Board of Directors has approved my retirement as Chief Executive Officer effective December 31, 2023. But I will still continue as Chairman/Adviser and Chairman of the Programming Committee.

"The Board also approved my recommendation to elect Mr. Gilberto R. Duavit Jr. as the new Chief Executive Officer to replace me effective January 1, 2024."
