Noong August 2022, eksklusibong nagkuwento si Tessa sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) tungkol sa kanila ng mister na si Dennis.
Tinapos na raw nila ni Dennis ang kanilang pagsasama bilang mag-asawa may isang taon matapos ng kanilang magarbong renewal of wedding vows sa kanilang 25th wedding anniversary noong June 24, 2019.

“So, nice… I feel that my journey at this point is more purposeful with my kids, and [what] I want to do is to share my healing with others.
"That it’s actually… of course, it’s very traumatic and negative. But it’s so easy if you have support groups, if you have people that love you, and that see you in that new phase you are… the friends.”

Nitong nakaraang February 2023, sinabi ni Tessa na naka-move on na siya sa hiwalayan nila ni Dennis at handa na siyang ma-in love muli kahit mas bata pa sa kanya ang lalaki.
Sabi ng prankang socialite: “I mean, I think, like, age is relative. If a person comes into my life that... I'm not gonna ask how old you are or anything. That's not even relevant.
"I think you fall in love with the person because of their being, not of their age or gender or anything."
