Fans who attended the awards ceremony managed to capture the reactions of some Korean celebrities to the 35-year-old comedienne's hilarious moments at the prestigious event.

THE HOS: JUN HO, SUHO, AND SEONHO
During the main show, Melai had everyone laughing when IVE's Wonyoung, the awarding ceremony's host, went to her for a short interview.
The Kapamilya actress humorously responded to the host's question in broken English, expressing her disbelief at being part of the prestigious event.
When asked about artists she'd like to meet, she enthusiastically mentioned her idol Start-Up actor Kim Seon Ho, making wacky faces and gestures to convey her excitement about the opportunity.
SeonHo was amused by Melai's interview, and the laughter didn't stop there—EXO's Suho and 2PM's Lee JunHo were also caught laughing at Melai's funny reactions.
NewJeans
In the same interview, Melai also mentioned that she looks forward to meeting NewJeans saying "because my daughter loves NewJeans."
Filipino fans were able to capture the group's reaction as they visibly expressed happiness when Melai gave them a shoutout.

Acknowleding Melai on the spot, all of NewJeans members raised their hands to catch Melai's attention and exchange greetings.

The Kapamilya comedienne then seized the opportunity to greet the popular K-Pop girl group.

STRAY KIDS
Another highlight of the evening was Melai's acceptance speech when she was awarded as AAA 2023's Best Actor.
K-Pop group Stray Kids visibly enjoyed Melai's speech.
Bangchan, in particular, burst into laughter when Melai humorously remarked, "If someone questions why I have an award, don’t worry, I question too."
And being an English-speaking member of the group, Bangchan translated it to the other members.
Netizens also noticed Stray Kids member IN's perplexed expression during Melai's speech.
This moment also saw Bangchan, accompanied by fellow English-speaking member Felix, breaking into laughter when Melai concluded her speech with the words, "To my family, we will serve the Lord."
ZEROBASEONE AND NMIXX
During Melai's acceptance speech, both members of the boy group ZeroBaseOne and the girl group NMIXX joined fans in enthusiastic cheers for the Kapamilya actress.
NMIXX's Lily particularly stood out and was even dubbed by netizens as a "true Melai stan" for her spirited chant.

The members of the OPM group SB19 couldn't contain their laughter during Melai's humorous moments at the Asia Artist Awards.
While Melai was being interviewed by Wonyoung, SB19 was seen standing behind the production booth, waiting for her to finish before continuing with their activities.
Ken, Pablo, Stell, Justin, and Josh all burst into laughter and cheers when Melai humorously expressed that she feels like a top student who clinched "first honor" for being part of the prestigious event.
Of course, when Melai was delivering her acceptance speech, SB19 enthusiastically cheered her on.
LAPILLUS AND HORI7ON
Chanty Videla of Lapillus and the members of the All-Filipino global pop group HORIZON, seated at adjacent tables, were also seen cheering for Melai.
