Nagpadala ng opisyal na pahayag si Rob Gomez sa Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) ngayong Miyerkules ng gabi, Disyembre 20, 2023, kaugnay ng unauthorized post na inilagay ng kanyang estranged girlfriend na si Shaila Rebortera sa Instagram account ng aktor.
Inilahad ni Rob na walang pahintulot na kinuha at ginamit ni Shaila ang kanyang cellphone at, diumano, nagpanggap bilang siya ang ina ng kanyang anak.
Ang nilalaman ng mga unauthorized posts na ito ay screenshot ng private conversations ng aktor kina Herlene Budol at Bianca Manalo, ang mga co-star ni Rob sa Magandang Dilag, ang afternoon prime series ng GMA-7 na nagwakas noong Nobyembre 10, 2023.

Lumikha ng malaking kontrobersiya ang mga unauthorized posting nito dahil idinamay pati sina Herlene at Bianca.
Pahayag ni Rob tungkol dito: “Please be advised that my phone was taken and used it without my consent on December 20, 2023 from 12:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“Worse is that the person who took my phone posted pictures of mine in my own social media account pretending that I posted it with the intention of destroying my reputation.
“The videos as shown were among my friends and co-stars who was trying to cheer me up when I was going through a lot of hurdles in my life."
Lumaki na ang hidwaan sa pagitan nina Rob at Shaila na nag- umpisa nang sabihin ng aktor sa guesting nito sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda noong Agosto 3, 2023, na single siya.
Hindi nagustuhan ni Shaila ang salita na binitiwan ni Rob sa national television dahil nagsasama na sila noon at may isa nang anak.
Gamit ang social media, ibinulgar ng ex-beauty ang tunay na estado at relasyon nila ng kanyang live-in partner.
