Ikinagulat ng pageant fans ang biglaang pag-back out ni Miss Kananga Natasha Ellema Jung sa Miss Universe Philippines 2024.
Kahapon, February 21, 2024, nagtaka ang pageant fans kung bakit hindi kasama si Miss Kananga sa official headshots na inilabas ng Miss Universe Philippines Organization.
Dahil dito, nagkaroon ng kutob ang ilan na baka nag-withdraw ito sa kumpetisyon.
Ngayong Miyerkules, February 22, 2024, nakumpirma ang haka-hakang hindi na itutuloy ni Natasha ang kanyang Miss Universe Philipines 2024 journey.
Sa official statement na inilabas ni Natasha sa kanyang Instagram, "personal reasons" ang pinakadahilan ng kanyang pag-withdraw.
Prayoridad daw niya ngayon ang kanyang "personal growth."
Nakasaad sa kanyang pahayag: "I, Natasha Ellema Jung, announces today my withdrawal from participating in the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2024 as an official representativeof the Municipality of Kananga. Due to personal reasons.
"As of the moment, I would like to prioritize my personal growth and commitments, and not to further involve the organization on the matter.
"While stepping away as an official candidate of Miss Universe Philippines 2024. I will, nonetheless remain committed to, and continuously promote my individual causes."
Gagamitin daw ni Natasha ang panahon niya para makahanap ng kaparaanan para malampasan ang ilang pagsubok sa buhay.
Aniya, "I will use this time to reflect on myself, my priorities, and to address the personal matters that require my immediate attention.
"It is essential for me to take this opportunity to ensure that I am in the best possible state to navigate through this challenges effectively.
"I will also be evaluating my future commitments and endeavors, ensuring that I am able to dedicate myself fully when the time is right."
Sa huli, nagpasalamat si Natasha na naging kinatawan siya ng Kananga sa Miss Universe Philippines 2024.
Humingi rin siya ng dispensa sa organizers ng Miss Kananga at sa kanyang supporters.
Pagtatapos ni Natasha, "Lastly, I express my deepest gratitude for the opportunity to be part of such a prestigious competition and be named as Miss Universe Philippines Kananga 2024.
"I am genuinely appreciative of the support,love, and understanding of the Organization, particularly Ms. @aprilhappymuch, has extended to me throughout the process.
"At the same time, I would also like to extend my sincerest apologies to the organization of Miss Kananga, fellow participants, sponsors, supporters, most especially Ms. April Tanhueco- Miss Universe Philippines Kananga Accredited Partner for any nuisance, trouble or inconvenience caused by my withdrawal.
