On Thursday, February 29, 2024, Benny, posted a TikTok video where he reviewed food from the famous fast food chain Jollibee.
At the start of his video, he mentioned his familiarity with Filipino cuisine due to his stepmother's background and was eager to share his thoughts on the experience.
"All right guys, it's nighttime. Work's over. I may or may not have just uh... And it's time to try some f****ng Jollibee. I've never f****ng had them in my life."
Benny continued, "Now, a lot of you might not even know this, but my stepmom's from the Philippines, so I grew up eating a sh*tload of Filipino food, so let's see what we got here."
BENNY BLANCO VS JOLLIBEE
Benny started his review by selecting the adobo rice, exclusively offered in the U.S. His verdict?
"Look at this dry-ass adobo rice. Sorry, this dry-ass adobo rice. Tastes like b*tt."
Benny initially liked Jollibee's famous ChickenJoy, but his comments on it changed after a few more bites.
He said, "All right, y'all. I'm gonna tell you one thing. I really think the gravy is just tricking me.
"Chicken's not even that good. Gravy-spired chicken's actually like kind of soggy as f*ck."
Even before tasting it, Benny held a negative opinion of Jollibee's Filipino-style spaghetti.
He said, "All right, this shit smells like f*ck*ng vomit. It's spaghetti with, like, little hotdogs in it and, like, cheese. What the f*ck? Let me get a fork."
After sampling it, he promptly spat it out, remarking, "I feel like that just ruined my night. Ew, Jollibee."
Even the fries, soggy from delivery, didn't escape his scathing critique.
Benny told his viewers, "All right, look at these limp-d*ck ass fries. I can't even try this. Are you f*ck*ng kidding? Look, it's not like they're all limp-d*ck."

The only items that garnered his approval from the fast food haul were the pineapple drink and the peach mango pie.
Regarding the latter, he remarked, "It's good, but, like, don't go to Jollibee. This sh*t sucks."

Another netizen, @wanchotaku, expressed confusion: "okay i don’t get it selena"

Netizen @Deng issued a challenge to Benny, stating, "Pls go to Philippines and taste the real jollibee"

BENNY BLANCO TRIES FILIPINO FOOD: PART 2
Benny attempted to ease the backlash from his initial video by posting another one on Friday, March 1, 2024, featuring Filipino cuisine.
This time, he sampled various dishes from different "highest-rated" Filipino restaurants in Los Angeles.
At the start of the video, he said, "It's time to eat some Filipino food. Alright, guys, these are all the highest-rated Filipino places in L.A."
Benny decided to give Jollibee another chance and returned for another visit. This time, he opted for the chicken sandwich.
He told his TikTok followers, "Apparently all the Jollibees suck in L.A. and they're not as good as in the Philippines or New York.
"But my friend told me the best one and he told me I had to get the spicy chicken sandwich."
After giving it a try, Benny had some positive remarks about the chicken sandwich and said, "Holy f*ck! Guys, I can't believe I'm saying this. Not only is this sandwich so good.
"Not only is this sandwich so good, I completely reverse my opinion of how it sucks. You can go there just for this."
In his food review, Benny delved into trying Lumpiang Shanghai, a Filipino dish he's familiar with, thanks to his stepmom Cora, who makes the best ones, according to him.
He gave a shout-out to Cora before describing Lumpia as "the sexiest fried little egg roll."
Benny said, "Alright, guys, time to try some lumpia. Cora, I know, sorry, this one's not yours. Shout out to Cora, my stepmom.
"She makes the best lumpia. But lumpia is basically just like the sexiest fried little egg roll that you can just shove in your mouth."
Next up on his food haul is the longganisa from a Los Angeles-based Filipino restaurant called Kuya Lord.
He said, "I've been trying to try this place for a long ass time. Wow, look at that longganisa."
After a few bites, Benny was raving and said, "Oh my god. Okay. Sweet. A little bit spicy. We got... Alright Kuya Lord, f*ck my p*ssy."
Benny also tasted another chicken dish, though he couldn't determine its exact name.
Judging from the video, it seemed to resemble either barbecue chicken or Chicken Inasal.
And he seemed to like it as well, "We got big smoky flavor here. This s**t f*cks. This one f*cks."
Benny tried the Filipino pancit, which was "a little bit different than what I usually have."
He wrapped up the video by concocting a combination of the chicken sandwich, layering it with Lumpiang Shanghai, and drizzling it with vinegar sauce.

Meanwhile, @Ymera Xebella called out Benny's follow-up video and wrote, "PURE SARCASM."
