Actress Liza Soberano looked stunning on the last day of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City International Film Festival (HIFF) in Vietnam.
The eight-day event opened on April 6, 2024, and culminated with an awarding ceremony on Saturday, April 13.

Liza was part of the judges alongside film producer John Badalu, New York Asian Film Festival Executive Director Samuel Jamier, Vietnamese-American film editor Tom Cross, and director Nguyen Thanh Van.
The former Kapamilya actress also graced the stage to present the Best Actress award.
Meanwhile, the movie Gospel of the Beast by Filipino director Sheron Dayoc took home the Best Film Award.
Sheron described the film in a 2023 interview with Rappler as a "cinematic journey into the heart of my country’s turbulent narrative" and "a visceral allegory that confronts the profound social and political inequalities and injustices that have defined its history."
ELEGANT IN BLACK
Liza wore a chic black dress and a neatly styled bun at the event.
Posting on Instagram, Liza said she was "thrilled" and "honored" to serve as one of the jury members for the inaugural event.
She wrote, "Truly so inspired to continue working in an industry that encourages freedom of expression and challenges the way we think.
"Congratulations to all winners!"

Film critic Courtney Howard dubbed Liza as a "breakthrough performer" in her review of the horror-comedy film directed by Zelda Williams.
