SB19 grateful to A'TIN for unwavering support after recent challenges

Dubbed as the P-pop Kings, SB19 headlined the sold-out day 1 of the Clark Aurora Music Festival, which took place at Clark Global City in Pampanga on April 6, 2024.

The hitmaker group delivered incomparable performances, strongly kicking off their set with worldwide popular song “GENTO,” followed by “I WANT YOU” and “MAPA.”

During their heartfelt piece titled “LIHAM,” Josh shared a gratitude message to the fans.

He exclaimed, “A’TIN,” then continued, “Napakarami na nating pinagdaanan, mula sa hirap hanggang sa kasiyahan, kayo na ang kasama namin.

”Salamat po, ito ulit ang una naming performance para sa isang festival, at siyempre, nandyan pa rin kayo after ng aming mga pagsubok.

”Pero paano kung hindi namin kayo nakilala? Paano kung wala kayo?”

A standout and jaw-dropping moment occurred for their final performance, “CRIMZONE,” surprising everyone with fireworks and confetti cascading at the end.

CLARK AURORA MUSIC FESTIVAL 2024 DAY 1: HIGHLIGHTS

The highly-anticipated return of Aurora Music Festival to Clark, Pampanga did not disappoint, showcasing a grand two-day event for young and ‘young-at-heart’ Filipino music fans.

With 10 acts and two headliners performing over two nights, festival-goers had the opportunity to witness powerful performances, a thrilling display of hot air balloons, and the stunning sunset of Clark, among others.

The jam-packed music festival began with the fast-rising band from Baguio City, Cup of Joe, led by vocalists Gian Bernardino and Raphael Ridao.

The 6-piece ensemble had nine songs in their repertoire, including “Mananatili,” “Patutunguhan,” “Ikaw Pa Rin Ang Pipiliin Ko,” “Lahat Ng Bukas,” “Sagada,” “Sinderela,” “Wag Na Lang,” “Tingin,” and “Estranghero,” making them the act with the longest set for the night.

They not only caught the attention of the attendees with their songs but also delivered memorable performances radiating unique energy, setting the perfect tone for the main show.

Next up was Adie, who captured the hearts of Clark’s crowd with his soothing falsetto voice and live renditions of “Sawa Na,” “Mahika,” “Tahanan,” and “Paraluman.”

To delight fans, he also covered Alicia Keys’ "No One," leaving the audience eager to hear more masterpieces from his “SENARYO” album like “Paralumbay,” “Kursunada,” “Ewan,” “Senaryo,” and “Hoy!”

To further elevate the energy of the event, Juan Karlos belted out “Sad Songs and Bullshit,” “Demonyo,” “Manhid,” “Buwan,” and “Kunwari,” in order, captivating the crowd with his stage presence.

He also displayed a good sense of humor— case in point: he elicited unexpected laughter from the festival-goers by inserting a line in his smash hit “ERE” that goes, “tayo’y lumilipad, at talagang iniwan mo pa ako, sa medyo kamukha ko.”

While other artists offered heartwarming and electrifying music, Moira dela Torre took the audience on an emotional journey, living up to her reputation as “mapanakit.”

Many attendees were moved by her performance, with some jokingly saying “ang sakit mo na, Moira” after her medley of “Paubaya,” “Ang Iwasan,” and “Tagu-taguan.”

The 30-year-old singer-songwriter also sang “Babalik Sa’yo,” “ikaw at sila,” “Dito Ka Lang,” “Before It Sinks In,” and “Kumpas.”

As the night fell, the popular Filipino band December Avenue stormed onto the Aurora Music Festival stage, igniting the atmosphere with their captivating performance.

They treated fans with hits, such as “Kahit 'Di Mo Alam,” “Bulong,” “Eroplanong Papel,” then “Huling Sandali,” “Sleep Tonight,” and “Saksi Ang Langit,” before ending with “Sa Ngalan Ng Pag-Ibig” as festival-goers raised their phones with flashlights on and sang along.

To make the event more special, Moira joined the band’s vocalist Zel Bautista for a live rendition of the chart-topping hit “Kung 'Di Rin Lang Ikaw,” earning enthusiastic cheers from the crowd.

Zel shared, “By the way, simula nang ni-release namin ‘tong song na ‘to nung 2018, three times palang namin siyang pine-perform na magkasama live.

”So, sobrang special nitong gabing ito para sa inyo.”
