Pageant fans are in a frenzy as the new Miss Universe Philippines titleholder will be crowned in just a few days.
Beyond the excitement for the winning beauty queen, many fans are eagerly anticipating the Miss Universe Philippines stage.
This year, event stylist Tei Endencia is taking on the challenge of designing the stage for the pageant's fifth edition, marking a first since its inception in 2020.

In a brief conversation with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) via Facebook Messenger, Tei admits feeling considerable pressure to create the best stage for the pageant, aiming to impress not only the organization but also its passionate fans.
"There [is] definitely a lot of pressure and huge expectations... Enormous one, as I would emphasize especially since this seems like a make-it-or-break-it project for me."
However, this pressure has eased somewhat, especially since many fans praised his work for the pageant's preliminary competition held on May 19, 2024.
MUPH 2024 PRELIMS SET-UP
The stage setup at the Fiesta Pavilion of The Manila Hotel in Ermita, Manila, shimmered in gold, featuring floor-to-ceiling LED walls and a V-shaped stage for the candidates to showcase their "pasarela" skills.
Tei shared, "Luckily, a majority of the pageants fans loved the stage set-up."
Elaborating on the stage design, Tei shared that he conducted thorough research and reviewed previous Miss Universe stage designs for inspiration in creating this setup.
"I watched several events/videos of previous Miss Universe stages, we've created mood boards as same as with our wedding events.
"We wanted to achieve a stage set-up that is not that complicated in the eye of the beholder. "

But what can fans expect for the grand coronation night? Tei promised a set-up to watch for.
In his words, "Incomparable set-up! As you know it, since its a different event, so definitely, the event styling for Miss Universe Philippines is of different executions.
"We want the usual Miss Universe stage, but we had it revised so we can revolutionize it into a new 'MasTeipiece' creation.
"We want it to be polished, modernized, and the elegance is there. Watch and see."
Michelle Dee will pass on the crown to her successor at the pageant's grand coronation night in SM Mall of Asia Arena on May 22, 2024.
The winner will compete in the international edition in Mexico.
