“I’m so overwhelmed!” bulalas ni Piolo matapos ang invitational screening ng Moro nitong Hulyo 14, Linggo ng gabi, sa Victoria Sports Tower, EDSA, Quezon City.
“You know, it’s like what Direk Laurice said. It’s her first time to work with me, so first time for me to be actually in this kind of production.
“Napakagaling ni Direk Brillante. Maraming-maraming salamat, Direk! It was such a privilege to be in a film na masasabi mo, it speaks about a universal language which is love.
Maraming salamat, Direk!”
Nasa cast din ng Moro sina Christopher de Leon, Joel Torre, Beauty Gonzalez, Nikki Valdez, Ina Feleo, Alvin Anson, Dido de la Paz, at Rolando Inocencio.

MESSAGE OF MORO
I mean, I was… grabe yung in your face na approach ni Direk Brillante para makita natin yung effect na it’s kind of microscopic in a sense,” tugon ni Piolo.
So, yun yung dinepict ni Direk. Yun ang take home para sa akin, na parang kailangan mong ma-realize yung pain na pinagdadaanan ng tao, be it a film or a docu.
“Napakasakit.
So, anlaki ng investment.

CONFRONTATION SCENE BETWEEN PIOLO AND BARON

Baron and I grew up… I mean, we’ve been friends since we were in our teens, I should say,” lahad ni Piolo.
Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! We have the same respect for the…
“Baron is very committed. He’s a commited actor. When we do something, we do it wholeheartedly. We don’t leave anything behind.
“So I have so much respect for this guy. Pag ginawa niya ang isang bagay, gagawin niya more than you ask for.”
You know what, watching this film is like… pag team player ka, pag kasama ka sa pelikula, no matter how small or big your role is, ang sarap nung pakiramdam na kasama ka sa isang mensahe.
“Mensahe. Yung pelikula is a message to our audience. So regardless if your role is small or big, just to depict a certain character for people to relate with, it’s important.

REALIZATIONS AFTER DOING MORO
Humugot ng malalim na buntong-hininga si Piolo, “It speaks about a certain universe which is unity. As what I’ve said from the beginning, it’s microscopic.
“Hindi naman ito about religion or culture. But it’s about love, it’s about love for the family, it’s about a mother’s love.
“And it’s all that matters for us to stay united, no matter the differences, culture or religion or whatever.
So it’s a reminder.
“For us to be aware of the consequences that we have to take because of our choices in life.”

IS PIOLO CHOOSY ABOUT HIS ROLES?

“I wish I could say that. You know, in all honesty, I’m so blessed, I’m so privileged to be working with people like Direk Brillante, Direk Laurice, Baron for that matter, Mallari, GomBurZa,” pagmamatuwid ng Ultimate Heartthrob.
“I wish I could say pinili ko talaga siya pero luma-landing lang po talaga sa lap natin yung mga ganitong proyekto.
“I’m just really humbled by the opportunities that come my way. And at this point, I’m a sucker for good stories. I would always say that.
“I love good stories. If there’s something that I’d like to take on, I’d find a way para magawa yung isang istorya.
“Because I love watching films. I’m a film lover. And I have so much respect for cinema.
“So being part of this film, wow, it’s such a blessing. Hindi ako namimili ng proyekto basta maganda.”
