Filipino-American basketball sensation Dwight Ramos, known to his fans as "St. Dwight," continues to captivate audiences both on and off the court.
Despite his brief stint for the Ateneo de Manila University men's basketball team in 2019, Dwight made waves with the Philippine national basketball team, Gilas Pilipinas, and is now making his mark with Levanga Hokkaido in Japan's B.League.
Despite his increasing fame, Dwight stays remarkably humble and continues to connect with his fans.
He met several of them at the press launch where he was introduced as the ambassador for G-SHOCK’s G-Steel GBM-2100 Series at SM Megamall on August 9, 2024.

At the event, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) had a quick chat with Dwight, where he expressed his enthusiasm for this endorsement.
Dwight said, "I was super excited. I've always liked G-Shock since I was a little kid and it kind of fits my image also. I think it's a perfect match."
But Dwight admitted that he's still not used to the spotlight, "Not really. I still get shy. I just gotta do what I gotta do."
Beyond his basketball skills, Dwight's fans also value the dynamics of his relationship with volleyball star Kim Kianna Dy.
When asked if he reads the comments about their relationship, he said, "Yeah, I read it, but it is what it is. They like our relationship, I think."
Dwight and Kianna are currently navigating a long-distance relationship, with Dwight based in Japan and Kianna in the Philippines, where she plays for the PLDT High Speed Hitters and the national women's volleyball team.
When asked for advice on maintaining a successful long-distance relationship, basketball star Dwight Ramos emphasized the importance of effective communication.
In his words, "A good communication, good Wi-Fi, FaceTime, Skype, something like that."
Right now, Dwight is committed to his basketball career in Japan.
Following the event, he'll be jumping straight back into training to prepare for the latest season of Japan's B.League.
"I'm going to Japan to start my season and start playing," he said.
