Naglabas na ng announcement ang Miss Universe Organization (MUO) tungkol sa pagpapatuloy ng Voice for Change challenge para sa Miss Universe 2024 pageant.
Sa Instagram noong September 15, 2024, sinabi ng MUO na malapit nang maglabas ng videos ang mga kandidata ng kanilang campaign sa mga sektor ng lipunan na pinili nilang suportahan para sa Voice for Change.
Sabi sa announcement: "The Miss Universe Organization proudly continues its inspiring partnership with CI Talks, which began with the 72nd Miss Universe in 2023.
"For ongoing collaborations with the Voice for Change Campaign, delegates from the 73rd Miss Universe competition will soon release exclusive videos on the CI Talks platform; each shining a light on social causes close to their hearts.
"These extraordinary women, representing diverse cultures and backgrounds, will champion a range of social impact initiatives—from education and environmental sustainability to women’s health and equality—emphasizing the power of collective action.
"With their commitment to driving change, they embody Miss Universe’s mission of empowering confident women to make the world a better place.
"'Voice for Change' taps into the core values of both Miss Universe and CI Talks: amplifying voices, advocating for a brighter future, and encouraging global citizens to take meaningful action. Maraming netizens mula sa iba't ibang panig ng mundo ang nag-react dito.
Kasama sa larawan si Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios ng Nicaragua at Miss Universe 2023 first runner-up Anntonia Porsild ng Thailand.
Ngunit kapansin-pansing wala sa poster si Miss Universe 2023 second runner-up Moraya Wilson ng Australia.
Sa halip, ang nasa larawan ay si Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee, na umabot lamang hanggang sa Top 10.
Si Michelle ang isa sa mga nanalo sa Voice of Change award noong nakaraang Miss Universe 2023.
Ang dalawa pang nanalo ay sina Miss Universe Angola Anna Coimbra at Miss Universe Puerto Rico Karla Acevedo.

Sabi ng isa, "To Explain in the Picture, Michelle Dee was in the poster because she won the Voice for Change. It doesnt mean that she was the 2nd runner up. Please read the poster carefully before say anything and do research. Thanks."
Ayon naman sa isa pa, "For those asking why @michelledee is in there because mmd was one of the most voted in Voice For Change last year, maybe mmd's picture is there because they are using it for the promotion of Miss Universe, you know that the Philippines is one of those who always watch Miss Universe (in my opinion )"
Opinyon ng isa, "Philippines is there I guess because she's definitely the Voice for Change and she's the most awarded MU Candidate. Perhaps, she should really been the Top 3."
Wala pang reaksiyon ang Miss Universe Organization sa backlash na kanilang inabot dahil sa poster.
Samantala, ngayong paparating na linggo lamang maibibigay kay Michelle ang kanyang premyo sa pagkapanalo sa Voice for Change noong November 19, 2023.
Nagkaroon daw kasi ng problema sa "communication process" sa loob ng Miss Universe Philippines Organization at hindi sa mismong MUO.

Ikinatuwa naman ito ni Michelle dahil sa wakas ay maibibigay na niya ang perang halos PHP700,000 sa Autism Society Philippines, ang sector na kanyang sinusuportahan.
