Kailangang magpahinga ng ilang araw si Miss Cosmo Philippines 2024 Ahtisa Manalo matapos niyang magtamo ng sprained ankle sa unang gabi ng rehearsal para sa Miss Cosmo International 2024.
Kasalukuyang nasa Vietnam si Ahtisa, kasama ang iba pang mga kandidata mula sa iba't ibang panig ng mundo.
Nangyari ang insidente noong Sabado, September 28, 2024.

MISS COSMO ORGANIZATION ON AHTISA, OTHER GIRLS
Kaagad nagbigay ng pahayag ang Miss Cosmo Organization ukol sa insidenteng kinasangkutan ng kandidata mula sa Pilipinas.
Nagkaroon daw ng technical incident sa main stage na ipinapagawa nila para sa Preliminary Night (October 2) at Grand Finale (October 5).
Sabi sa statement, "Miss Cosmo Organization announces technical incident at the Preliminary Night and the Grand Finale Stage.
"On September 28, 2024, a technical incident occurred during the finalization of the main stage for the Miss Cosmo 2024.
"Upon immediate discovery, the Miss Cosmo organization swiftly collaborated with technical experts, medical units and relevant authorities to address the situation. Initial assessments confirm that there were no significant damages.
"We will continue to work with related parties to determine the root cause of the incident and provide updates to the public as soon as possible."
Sinisiguro naman nilang ligtas ang mga apektadong kandidata.
Dagdag pa sa statement, "Furthermore, we have promptly implemented measures to ensure the well-being and stability of all contestants. Their safety remains our top priority at this time.
"All information regarding the Preliminary Night and the Grand Finale rounds of Miss Cosmo 2024 will be shared with you as soon as it becomes available.
"We sincerely appreciate the understanding and support of our audience, contestants, and partners."

Dahil sa insidente, pinili ni Ahtisa na magpahinga muna noong September 29, kung saan may nakatakda sanang tatlong aktibidades ang pageant: Food & Folk Games Festival, Carnival Parade, at Music Festival.
Hindi nakilahok si Ahtisa sa mga aktibidad na ito.

Malaki ang panghihinayang ni Ahtisa na hindi siya nakasama rito.
Sabi niya sa kanyang Instagram Broadcast Channel, "Hey loves! I am well and safe. I just need to rest to make sure my sprained ankle heals and recovers for the upcoming competition.
"I'm sad to miss our activity today where I can interact with supporters, sponsors and other candidates but my health and recovery is my top priority now.
"Thank you my loves! And wish me a speedy recovery para laban na ulit!"

At ngayong gabi ng Lunes, September 30, nag-update si Ahtisa sa kanyang channel. Ibinahagi niya ang picture ng kanyang sprained ankle na may elastic bandage.
Sabi lang niya, “How my day looks (laughing emoji)”
Dagdag pa niya, "I'm sad to miss the Miss Cosmo events for 2 days now [sad face emoji]"
