Kahit baguhan pa lamang sa showbiz si Jess Martinez, nakapalagayang-loob agad niya ang mga veteran stars Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap, tulad nina Dina Bonnevie at Pinky Amador.

Ngayong Sabado, October 19, 2024, magtatapos ang hit GMA Afternoon Prime series.
Gumanap si Jess bilang si Diwata sa serye.
Sa panayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), ibinahagi ni Jess kung paano siya inalalayan ng veteran co-stars sa programa.
"Yung expectations ko kasi before is parang it's gonna go well lang, kasi nga I'm with the senior stars.
"And now I'm very much grateful kasi yung expectation ko na-meet yung reality, which is ginagabayan talaga ako ng mga senior stars," bungad ni Jess.
Special shoutout niya sina Dina, Pinky, Wilma Doesnt, Carmina Villarroel, at Dexter Doria.
Na-appreciate ni Jess ang mga simpleng gestures ng mga ito para maging kumportable siya.
Kuwento ni Jess, "Yes, first and foremost with Miss Dina muna, kasi I really, really appreciate Ms. Dina, because most of the time, kami yung ka-roommate ni Ms. Dina.
"And whenever she would, like, see na wala akong dalang food or something, she would offer.
"I remember one time, na-notice niya na wala akong dalang food, so she offered her salmon, which is, like, one lang and then she would half it para she can share it to me.
"And even the pancit, like, the entire pancit, she gave it to me, like that's how generous and kind she is."
Hindi raw nakitaan ni Jess ng pagkamataray si Dina.
"That's why I don't understand talaga some of the rumors saying that she's mataray,” saad ni Jess.
"Because I was, like, when I met her, she was already super kind and she would offer stuff to me even if I'm like, baguhan pa."

ON CARMINA VILLARROEL
Positibo ang mga sinabi ni Jess tungkol kay Carmina.
Lahad niya: "About Ms. Carmina, alam mo to be honest, hindi ko talaga naiintindihan yung mga rumors na mga maldita sila or like ma-attitude, kasi even with Ms. Carmina, sobrang welcoming niya.
"The first time I met her naman, kinausap niya na ako agad and I feel really welcomed kasi nagtatanong lang siya ng mga random things like, ‘How are you? Where are you from?’
"You know, kasi kahit ganun lang ka-basic yung mga questions but the thought and the fact that she's Ms. Carmina, but she's, like, talking to me, na parang wow, di ba? It's an honor."

ON WILMA DOESNT
Nag-bonding rin daw sila nang husto ni Wilma, na gumaganap na tiyahin niya sa serye.
"Of course, Ms. Wilma, I really love the humor of Ms. Wilma," bulalas ni Jess.
"Even though I'm like a baguhan again, she would really guide me as if I'm her daughter.
"She would tell me kung anong mga dapat kong i-improve, dapat kong baguhin, and dahil dun mas natututo ako."
Gusto raw ni Jess na dinidiretso siya ni Wilma.
"Kasi if walang makakapagsabi sa akin kung anong mga mali na nagagawa ko sa set, then hindi naman ako mag-improve as an actor.
"So, I'm grateful that she's willing and that she's brave enough to say kung ano dapat yung mga kailangan ko pang i-improve."
JESS MARTINEZ ON PINKY AMADOR
Papuri rin ang mga tinuran ni Jess para kay Pinky.
Lahad niya: "Yes, si Ms. Pinky, she's also mabait sa akin kasi I remember the first time I met her sa tent, she already called me anak.
"So, kahit na hindi pa kami nakapag-bond or kahit bago pa lang ako, she would treat me the same way with the other people na matagal na dito sa set."\
Over-all, masaya si Jess sa naging journey niya sa show.
"So, I'm very much happy na we're all doing well.
"And when it comes to the story naman ng Abot Kamay, pakaabangan because sobrang exciting na ng mga nangyayari.
"And even me, nanonood kasi talaga ako ng Abot-Kamay, pero ang masasabi ko is yung mga scenes na mangyayari is mas intense na at mas kaabang-abang."
