Nagsasagutan ngayon sa social media ang aktres na si Melissa Mendez at ang lalaking nakaaway niya sa eroplano noong 2015.
Nangyayari ang sagutan ngayong araw, November 10, 2024, sa Facebook page ni Rey Pamaran, ang businessman na sinampal ng aktres sa isang flight siyam na taon na ang nakararaan.
Naging mainit na isyu noon ang away at ang naganap na pag-offload sa aktres mula sa eroplano.

Matagal nang patay ang isyu ngunit naungkat nang talakayin ito ni Melissa sa isang panayam sa YouTube ngayong buwan.
Hindi nagustuhan ni Rey ang panayam at dito na nagsimula mula ang alitan nila ni Melissa.
“Your recent interview just opened an old wound. This happened 9 years ago and yet, you still managed to bring it back to life with lies,” saad ni Rey sa kanyang Facebook post ngayong Linggo ng hapon.
2015 PLANE ALTERCATION
Malaking balita noong 2015 ang nangyaring away nina Rey at Melissa sa eroplano. Umabot pa nga ito sa husgado.
Nangyari ang insidente noong March 20 sa isang eroplano ng Cebu Pacific na lumilipad papunta sa Pagadian sa Zamboanga del Sur.
Ang modelong si Andrew Wolff, na kasama ni Rey sa biyahe, ang unang nagbulgar ng isyu sa kanyang Instagram account, kung saan siya nag-upload ng video ng insidente.
Kuwento ni Andrew, inagaw umano ni Melissa ang kanilang reserved seats sa eroplano. Umalis lamang ito nang pakiusapan ng flight crew.
At kahit pumunta na sa tamang upuan si Melissa ay patuloy umano nitong pinagmumura sina Andrew at Rey. Halata raw na nakainom ang aktres.
Dahil bawal sa eroplano ang ganitong asal, binigyan si Melissa ng warning ng flight crew.
Ngunit hindi natinag ang aktres at pisikal na sinaktan umano si Rey at ang ilan sa mga flight attendant.
Dahil dito, nagdesisyon ang pilotong bumalik sa Maynila para pababain si Melissa sa eroplano.
Kinabukasan, noong March 21, nagpa-interview si Melissa sa DZMM Teleradyo para ihayag ang kanyang panig.
Aniya, nakiusap siya umano nang maayos kina Andrew na maupo muna siya nang saglit sa kanilang assigned seat para umano kumuha ng litrato ng ulap para sa kanyang panic disorder.
“Paglipad kasi, pag nakita ko yung clouds, nagkakaroon ako ng self-feeling of serenity and calmness so mawawalala yung panic disorder,” paliwanag niya.
Dagdag pa niya, si Rey umano ang nagsimula ng away nang sumagot itong hahampasin siya ng bag sa mukha.
Dahil sa panayam na ito, nagbanta si Rey na kakasuhan niya ang aktres ng slander kung hindi niya lilinawin ang pangyayari sa isa pang TV Interview.
Matapos ang ilang araw, noong March 24, nag-post si Melissa sa kanyang Instagram account ng public apology.
“In the light of the recent incident that involved me and Mr. Rey Pamaran, I would just like to simply apologize for my untoward actions and move on from this,” saad ng aktres.

Pero hindi nagustuhan ni Rey ang apology na ito dahil hindi raw kinlaro ni Melissa ang mga detalyeng nakasira umano sa kanyang pangalan.

Nagsampa siya ng kasong slander laban kay Melissa noong March 25, at humingi ng damages worth three million pesos.

RECENT MELISSA INTERVIEW
Naungkat ang 2015 issue na ito sa recent interview ni Melissa sa YouTube channel ng showbiz columnist na si Morly Alinio.
In-upload ang one-on-one interview ni Morly kay Melissa noong November 6, 2024.
Lagpas 35 minutes ang buong video na tumalakay sa iba’t ibang issue tungkol sa aktres. Maikli lang ang bahagi tungkol sa offloading incident dahil halos tatlong minuto lamang ito.
“As much as possible, ayaw ko sanang pag-usapan. Pero dahil kaibigan kita, sige, I’ll talk about it,” bungad ni Melissa kay Morly.
Pinanindigan ni Melissa ang una niyang kuwento na nakiusap lamang siyang panandaliang umupo sa assigned seat ni Rey para kumuha ng mga litrato ng mga ulap para sa kanyang mental health.
“Nakiupo muna ako sa window seat kasi may anxiety disorder, meron akong panic disorder. So, pag sasakay ka ng eroplano nandiyan yung natatakot ka pa rin, naalarma ako,” sabi ni Melissa.
Madaling-araw raw nangyari ang insidente.
Dagdag ni Melissa, “Gusto kong kumuha ng pictures ng clouds. Dumating na yung nakaupo talaga sa upuan ko. Sabi ko, ‘Puwede ba dito muna ako for a while?' Sabi ko sa kanya.
"Sabi niya, hindi raw puwede. 'O sige, kung ano, kahit sandali lang sana. 'Sabi niya, 'Upuan ko yan. Nagbayad ako for legroom,' sabi niya sa akin. ‘Pag di ka umalis diyan, may mangyayari.'”
Dahil dito ay umalis daw si Melissa sa upuan at lumipat sa upuan na nasa likod lang ni Rey. Pero kahit umalis na siya ay nagpaparinig pa rin umano si Rey habang umaandar ang eroplano, kaya’t kinumpronta niya ito.
“Nagalit ako, tumayo ako, lumapit ako sa kanya. ‘Ba’t di ka matahimik diyan? Ba’t ang gulo-gulo mo?' sabi ko sa kanya. Sabi niya, ‘Lumayo ka nga sa akin, ang baho ng hininga mo!’” pagpapatuloy ni Melissa.
Dahil malakas daw ang boses ni Rey ay nasaktan niya ito.
“Nasampal ko siya kasi binastos niya ako, e. Sinabihan niya ako na ambaho-baho ng hininga ko, amoy alak daw ako,” sabi ni Melissa.
Sinabi ni Melissa na siya lang ang na-offload dahil kilala si Rey sa airline.
“Ginawa ng piloto, kasi kilala siya, frequent flyer siya ng airline na yun. At saka yung lugar na pupuntahan na yun, di ko na sasabihin kung saan, bumalik yung eroplano, binaba ako,” aniya.
May sinabi rin daw ang mga guard sa airport sa kanya matapos siyang ma-offload.
“‘Bakit kayo lang po ang binaba? Dapat po yung naka-altercation niyo, binaba din. Unfair naman po sa inyo yun,’ sabi sa akin.”

Matapos nito ay nagdemandahan umano sila ni Rey bago magkaayos.
“Tapos pinagkasundo kami. Nagkasundo naman kami, so na-deny yung kanyang demanda. Na-deny yung demanda ko tapos nagkaayos naman kami after that.”
Nakaapekto raw sa mental health ni Melissa ang offloading issue.
“Pinag-usapan yun, nakakahiya. Nagkaroon ako ng depression because of that kasi nga nagdemandahan kami.
"Tapos ayokong lumabas ng bahay kasi pag lalabas ako ng bahay, pagtitinginan ako ng mga tao, tapos pag-uusapan nila na 'Alcoholic yan, lasinggera yan.'”
Itinanggi ni Melissa na alcoholic siya.
“Umiinom ako pero during parties. Occassionally,” saad niya.
REY RESPONDS ON FACEBOOK
Dalawang araw matapos i-post ang interview sa YouTube ay nag-react si Rey sa kanyang Facebook account.
Sa post niya noong Biyernes, November 8, ay pinabulaanan niya ang mga sinabi ni Melissa.
“Nine years ago, I encountered a difficult moment on a flight, one I’ve long since chosen to forgive.
"However, watching this recent interview with Ms. Melissa Yap Mendez on YouTube brings to mind how easily the truth can be reshaped to fit different narratives.
"I want to address this situation not with anger but with a reminder of what forgiveness and integrity truly means,” saad niya.
Naglagay rin ng Bible quote ang negosyante na tungkol sa pagsasabi ng katotohanan.
“There is freedom in the truth and peace in living it. I am reminded of Jesus’ words in John 8:32, ‘Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’ My hope is for true freedom—for both of us—as we continue on our journeys in faith,” pagpapahayag ni Rey.
MELISSA RESPONDS ON INSTAGRAM
Kahapon, November 9, ay pinili naman ni Melissa na sumagot sa kanyang Instagram account.
Sa isang video, sinabi ni Melissa na nagmensahe umano sa kanya si Rey at sinabihan siyang linawin ang mga detalye ng kanyang panayam.
“Mr. Rey Pamaran, you messaged me yesterday and asked me to set the record yesterday so here it is. Many many years ago, I made a mistake. I sat on your seat, and because of that, we had an altercation,” bungad ni Melissa.
Pinanindigan niyang marami raw sinabing masasakit na salita si Rey laban sa kanya.
“You said so many hurtful things about me. You shouted at me, you yelled at me, and I reacted and I slapped you,” sabi niya.
Inulit din ni Melissa ang pagtataka niya kung bakit hindi napababa ng eroplano ang kanyang nakaalitan.
“I do not know until now why I was the only one deplaned but I was never banned by Cebu Pacific,” saad niya.
Sinabi rin niya ang naging resulta ng mga kasong isinampa nila sa isa’t isa.
“You sued me and I sued you back. The case was dismissed because of lack of merit.”

May sinabi rin daw si Rey na lumuhod si Melissa sa harap niya para humingi ng kapatawaran. Pinabulaanan ito ni Melissa.
“You said that I knelt before you to ask for your forgiveness. I did not do that. Why will I do that when I know for a fact that we both made a mistake and I sued you.”
Sa huli, sinabi ni Melissa na sana ay matapos na ang issue.
“This has happened long time ago and I hope you move past this, that we move forward. I have forgiven you and I hope that you have forgiven me too. Take care and God bless,” sabi ng aktres.

REY RESPONDS ON FACEBOOK AGAIN
At ngayong araw, November 10, ay sumagot muli si Rey sa kanyang Facebook account. Mahaba-haba na ang post nito na may halos 1000 words.
Sa post ay sinabi ni Rey na nabuksan muli ang isyu dahil may mga sinabi umano si Melissa na hindi totoo sa kanyang YouTube interview.
Kasunod nito ay inisa-isa niya ang mga nalalaman niyang detalye tungkol sa insidente.
“I want to set the record straight again and assure you that this is all documented and in fact, everything is still with my lawyer,” saad ni Rey.
Una ay lasing na raw si Melissa pagsakay pa lang nito sa eroplano. Hindi rin daw mahinahon ang request nitong umupo muna si Rey sa kanyang upuan.
“You boarded the plane drunk. You took my seat, and made a big, loud fuss out of it. You pulled my hair, slapped me and tried to hurt me several times. All documented, with witnesses.”
Pangalawa, hindi raw umalis si Melissa sa upuan hanggang binigyan siya ng warning ng piloto na pabababain kapag hindi sumunod. At noong matapos umano niyang sumunod ay nagmamaktol pa rin ito kaya’t sinabihan ng piloto na hindi lilipad ang eroplano kung hindi siya tumigil.
“But did you behave? No! That is why the plane returned to Manila halfway through the flight and deplaned you. Why did you even wonder that you were the only one deplaned? Did I make myself unruly? Of course not!”

Paglilinaw ni Rey, si Melissa lamang ang napababa dahil ito lang umano ang nanggugulo.
Aniya, “You were the only one deplaned because you were the only one causing trouble. You were the aggressor. One flight attendant even hurt her hand because of your aggression when they wanted to handcuff you already. All documented, with witnesses.”
Hindi rin naniniwala si Rey na nagsampa ng kaso ang aktres laban sa kanya. Pinabulaanan din niyang na-dismiss ang kaso dahil sa lack of merit.
Paliwanag ni Rey, “If you sued me, why did I not get any subpoena? All the flight crew and even some passengers were willing to testify against you. Why did you say my case had no merit then? You claim that you sued me? On what basis? Did I physically harm you?
"The only time I may have caused you discomfort was when I told you and suggested that I would only allow you to talk in front of me inside the plane and that you could go first to the washroom and gargle your mouth as it stinks and smells like a brewery. That is where you slapped me, but did I retaliate? No! You even pulled my hair and jammed my right elbow between the seat's gap repeatedly before you approached in front of me and slapped me.”
Pinagtibay rin niyang lumuhod si Melissa sa harap niya. Dahil umano rito ay naawa siya at hinayaan na lang mamatay ang kaso.
“I'm not proud to say this, but it's true. You knelt down and begged me to withdraw the case. I was shocked, and I pitied you.
"I even told you I’d only consider withdrawing the case if you publicly apologized in an interview with ABS-CBN. You replied that ABS-CBN wouldn’t grant you the opportunity, so I offered to arrange it myself.
"Even though I knew you probably wouldn’t go through with it, I chose not to attend the court hearings and let the case die a natural death because I had already forgiven you at that moment at the Fiscal office.
"The fiscal knows this. Do you want me to ask him?” saad niya.
Sa bandang dulo ng post ay sinabi ni Rey na hindi niya nagugustuhan ang pagsasaad umano ni Melissa na ito ang biktima sa insidente.
“Your latest interview should have been your chance to tell everything as it is, but you chose to mix it up again. Worse, I'm dragged into it again. Just tell the truth!
"What I stated here now are ALL TRUE. You are more than welcome to prove me wrong, I would love that,” paliwanag niya.
TRADING COMMENTS
Agad namang nag-comment si Melissa sa ilalim ng post na ito ni Rey.
Dito ay mariin niyang itinanggi na lumuhod siya sa harap ng kaaway.
“I did not and would never kneel down before you. If you are a follower of Jesus please state facts and not fabricated stories,” sagot niya.
Idiniin din ng aktres na kinasuhan niya rin si Rey.
“I sued you for slander, defamation etc as I could no longer remember that case because it happened a long time ago but I vividly remember that we sued each other.”
Agad ding sinagot ni Rey ang comment na ito ng aktres. Nagsasabi lang daw siya ng katotohanan.
“Melissa, why would I need to fabricate anything? As I mentioned, everything I’ve stated is the truth. Can you provide a copy of the case you claim to have filed against me?” sagot ni Rey.
Dagdag pa ni Rey, kasama raw ni Melissa ang anak nito nang makiusap sa kanya.
“I can’t help but wonder how you could have even considered filing a case when both you and your daughter were already begging, asking me to withdraw my case against you at the Fiscal’s office,” sabi pa niya.
Sumagot muli si Melissa para muling itanggi na nag-beg siya.
“I never begged to you Rey. Why are you making a big fuss out of this? You are a man, a gentleman at that and as you said a follower of Jesus? Why are you doing this? Why make up stories that didn’t happen. God sees you. God knows the truth,” sabi ng aktres.
Ngunit muli itong kinontra ng businessman.
“Melissa, perhaps you’ve forgotten what happened at the Fiscal’s office. You and your daughter were there, asking me to withdraw the case. Your daughter even followed me outside, continuing to ask for my forgiveness until I got into my car,” saad niya.
Sa huli, sinabi nitong hindi niya nais gumawa ng ingay. Nais lamang daw niyang magsabi ng totoo.
“I’m not trying to make this a “big fuss.” As a follower of Jesus, I’m simply standing up for the truth, just as you’ve reminded me that God sees and knows everything. I am committed to being truthful in all things, and it’s in that same spirit that I’ve chosen to respond here,” sabi pa ni Rey.
