A year since its first solo concert The First Era in March 2024, Wave to Earth returned to Manila for its play with earth! 0.03 tour.

Pinoy fans enjoyed a one-night-only show on February 28, 2025, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The three-member band—Daniel Kim (vocals and guitar), Shin Donggyu (drums), and Cha Soonjong or simply John Cha (bass)—was joined by session musicians Jeonmin (saxophone) and Jo Junggeun (keyboard).

This isn’t Wave to Earth’s first time at the MOA Arena. In November 2023, the band performed ten songs for the ON Festival Off: Manila.

This year, it treated fans to nearly two hours of live music in a jam-packed event presented by KARPOS.

For those who may not be familiar, Wave to Earth’s fanbase is known as Plankton, taking the name from the song titled “surf.,” which features the line, “we surf like plankton.”

Here's to sum up the concert’s highlights.

PLAY WITH EARTH! 0.0.3 IN MANILA: OASIS OF SERENITY

Wave to Earth began its much-anticipated show with crowd favorites “are you bored?,” “play with earth!,” and “peach eyes.”

Thunderous cheers filled the arena when the members performed their hit “bad,” with fans enthusiastically singing along.

During “beck.,” a surprising yet impressive moment unfolded when a string from Daniel’s guitar snapped. Unfazed, he continued the solo, flawlessly playing the riff with just five strings.

Daniel took to the extended stage to showcase his guitar skills, while other members also had their moments to shine.

Songs like “slow drive” and “holyland” created a soothing atmosphere.

One of the stand-out moments came during “love.” as the band tweaked its instrumental intro under striking red lighting.

The indie band’s rendition of “annie.” added even more magic to the evening, with a flurry of confetti enhancing the breathtaking performance.

However, it was the iconic track “seasons.” that brought the energy to its peak, with fans passionately singing along.

To close the show, Wave to Earth sang “calla” and “pink,” leaving fans yearning for more as the breezy night came to an end.

“Even though the show ends like this, still, we will treasure this moment with everyone.

“It’s been a long time. Thank you again, and we will see you soon.”

Session saxophonist Jeonmin, overwhelmed by the crowd’s deafening cheers, read his prepared speech with a big smile, saying, “What’s up, Manila? I’m so happy to be back. Thank you for coming, thank you, thank you so much.
