Certified doctors of dental medicine na ang Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11 housemates na sina Joli Alferez at Gwen Montano.
Ito ay matapos nilang pumasa sa Dentists Licensure Exam na nangyari nitong May at June ng kasalukuyang taon.
Lumabas ang resulta noong June 11, 2025.
Inanunsiyo nina Joli at Gwen ang magandang balita sa kani-kanilang Instagram accounts.
JOLI ALFEREZ
Umere noong 2024 sa ABS-CBN ang PBB Gen 11, kung saan si Fyang Smith ang hinirang na PBB Grand Winner.
Ipinakilala si Joli bilang “Ang Smiling Darling ng Camarines Sur.”
Matapos ang PBB, nag-focus ang dalaga sa kanyang pag-aaral ng dentistry at nag-take ng board exam.
“Akala ko di ko kakayanin! This is for God, for my family, and for everyone who never stopped believing in me,” post ni Joli.
Inilahad pa ng former housemate na isa siyang pasaway noong bata siya.
“There were so many moments I doubted myself. I was the typical naughty and hard-headed second child.
“In elementary, I got scolded many times for causing trouble, nearly dropped out for cutting classes, and had more than a few visits to the principal’s office.”
Sa kabila nito, sundot niya, “But that wasn’t the end of my story.”
Naniwala raw sa kanyang kakayahan ang pamilya at mga kaibigan.
Aniya, “They believed I was capable of more—even when I didn’t believe it myself."
Hindi raw madali ang naging journey niya bago nakapasa sa board exam para maging licensed dentist.
Pagpapatuloy niya: “Many of you know I was part of Pinoy Big Brother. Chasing two dreams at once was not an easy task.
“I had rehearsals, shoots, mall shows, and travels—all while preparing for my board exam.
“I cried, broke down, troubled sleeping, and almost gave up.
“But in those moments, God sent the right people to lift me up, remind me of my purpose, and strengthen my faith.”
Iniaalay niya ang tagumpay sa mga taong naniwala sa kanya.

GWEN MONTANO
Lubos na pasasalamat ang laman ng mahabang post ni Gwen na binansagang “Ang Brave Bromantiko ng Cavite."
Posted as is na caption niya, “Before PBB, I was a Dental student. Now I am a licensed Dentist and it only gets better from here!”
Alam daw niyang marami pa siyang mga pagsubok at mga hamong kakaharapin ngayong isa na siyang licensed dentist.
“One thing for sure, I will always stay true to myself. Isa kong paboritong abiso sa mga kaibigan ko. ‘Huwag mong kakalimutan kung sino ka.’”
Aminado rin sa Gwen na hindi naging madali ang journey niya bago nakapasa sa licensure exam.
“The path to every licensure exam isn’t the same for everyone.
“For me it was a mix of every emotion possible. I know every twist and turn would make my story interesting.”
Lahat daw ng kanyang karanasan—maganda man o pangit—ay bahagi para matuto at magkaroon ng magandang karanasan sa buhay.
Malaki raw ang kumpiyansa niyang makakapasa siya, pero hindi raw ito pagmamayabang.
Ibinuhos daw kasi niya ang lahat ng kanyang makakaya sa pagre-review.
Paliwanag niya: “Sa totoo lang mayabang man pakinggan, pero hindi ako kinabahan.
“Kobe Bryant said that his insane level of confidence came from knowing he had done all he could do to prepare.
“I wasn’t nervous knowing that I had pushed and sacrificed for this, knowing I had prepared myself for this enough to grant myself that confidence that I would pass.
“Sure I wasn’t a topnotcher, I wasn’t the best in class, but I know I am THE best version of MYSELF.”
Iginiit din niya na ang kanyang pagkakapasa ay hindi lang dahil sa sariling pagsisikap.
“I know for a fact this was not me. Not entirely me. God made this possible. This was in His plan for me,” saad ng PBB ex-housemate.
“The knowledge and skills he had granted me paved the way for this achievement.
“All this would not come into fruition if not for Him. He made this all possible and I shall forever be an instrument for His plans.”
Pinasalamatan din ni Gwen ang lahat ng mga taong tumulong sa kanya, tulad ng kanyang mga mahal sa buhay.
