Since the pandemic, sheep have been sighted at the College of Science in the University of the Philippines Diliman. From just two or three, their number has grown to 20. But they are there for a specific purpose.

Yun po ang isang amazing about them.”

In the past few years, may mga posts sila tungkol sa mga kinaaaliwang tupa.

“The sheep are being taken care of by the College as part of the grounds maintenance team,” post ng The UP Wild Facebook page noong July 2020.

“Their task of keeping the grass low has never been more important than now, when our two-legged staff can’t come to work.”

CONCERNED ABOUT THE SHEEP

Paniniyak ng isang netizen, “Someone looks after them."

Sundot ng isa pa, “If I’m not mistaken, the CS admin (staff) are the ones taking care of them.”

May mga nakapansin namang madungis sila.

Paliwanag ng isa, “Near yung parang forest/damuhan kaya ganiyan itsura nila.”

Pagtatanggol ng isa pa, “They just don’t store at kasi di naman malamig sa UP.”

“The size is normal my concern is how dirty they look,” pagpuna ng isa.

So cute, especially when they’re in flock.”

Pagsang-ayon ng isa, “Aww!! Same, same.
