Fans are swooning following confirmation that Sparkle talent Anthony Constantino has been courting the "Nation’s Darling," Shuvee Etrata, for months.
Kilig reached new heights when netizens pointed out that Anthony fits Shuvee’s ideal type: “Tall, Dark, and Handsome”—or in short, “TDH.”
But Shuvee remains firmly focused on her career, as projects and opportunities continue to come in following her stint on Pinoy Big Brother (PBB): Celebrity Collab Edition.
"Of course, career po [ang priority]," Shuvee told the press, including Aubrey Carampel of GMA News and PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
The interview took place after her contract signing as the first-ever ambassador of Vivienne Vanity Lounge, held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Shangri-La at the Fort in Bonifacio Global City.
Shuvee further explained: "Non-negotiable ko po ang career and ngayon na nabigay po sa akin itong ganitong mga opportunities, hindi ko po ito basta-basta papabayaan."

Where does that leave Anthony?
Shuvee quipped: "Manligaw lang siya nang manligaw, mapagod siya nang mapagod.
"Wala namang nagfo-force sa kanya. Kaya niya iyan, kaya niya iyan! Bahala siya sa buhay niya."
On a more serious note, Shuvee said she’s grateful for Anthony’s patience, allowing her the time she needs before deciding whether to take their relationship to the next level.
"Mabait po yung tao na yun. Kaya nga siya nagtagal ng ilang buwan na ngayon kasi, grabe kaya yung mga sakripisyong pinaggagawa niya.
"Pero walang, alam mo yun, wala pa siyang nakikitang end game.
"Wala pa siyang nakikitang sagot and he's very patient about it.
"And I'm just really grateful to have found a manliligaw like him kasi at least marunong maghintay."
Shuvee also appreciates Anthony’s efforts to get to know her family.
In fact, Anthony will be joining Shuvee on her upcoming work-and-vacation trip to Polomolok, South Cotabato, where some of her family members live.
This visit follows Anthony’s July trip with her to Bantayan Island, Cebu, where he met Shuvee’s siblings.
Caught off guard that reporters already knew their travel plans, Shuvee jokingly said, "Grabe na nga itong ligawan na ito. Buong Pilipinas na talaga ang ginawa namin dito."
Echoing her earlier comments, Shuvee thanked Anthony for "patiently waiting."
In her words: "Medyo na-appreciate ko po yun... I feel like we all deserve that kind of courtship.
"Hindi minamadali, slow burn. And I'm just really grateful na he's able to wait...
"He's letting me win on my own. He's letting me do things on my own, right now na nangyayari na yung mga dreams ko sa pamilya ko.
"Alam niya at simula't sapul, alam niya po yung mga priorities ko sa buhay at alam niyang hindi siya pwedeng mag-over the bakod dun.
"Number one po talaga ang pamilya ko po. Kaya I'm sure he's happy for me."
SHUVEE ETRATA: NEW SHOW
Shuvee currently plays Veshdita in Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre.
Despite the show still airing, she has already been cast in another primetime series, Master Cutter, starring Dingdong Dantes.
She said: "Right now, excited ako sa storycon and, alam mo, yung ma-embrace ko talaga ang bagong role na ibibigay sa akin.
"And another challenge from Sparkle to me. And, of course, I would love to take it po."
During the interview, Shuvee said she’s familiar with the story but remained tight-lipped about her character.
When asked how she is preparing for the role, she said workshops are already in the works.
"As much as possible ipapasok natin yung mga acting workshops.
"Kasi alam naman natin, veteran actor po yung makakasama ko, hindi po puwedeng pucho-pucho lang ako doon.
"Kaya gagawin ko talaga lahat ng workshops there is. Right now, time lang po talaga kalaban ko."
Is acting something she plans to pursue more seriously moving forward?
"Sa totoo lang po, I'm really comfortable with hosting.
"Although, right now that I'm given this, you know, career path parang mas gusto kong i-push yung rom-com.
"Kasi mas gusto ko yung—collab naman na ito—so, like yung Toni [Gonzaga] vibes, alam niyo yun?
"Yung parang ganun na could do hosting, could also do acting.
"So, marami po akong gusto na i-try or i-practice po na genres.
"Pero right now, whatever it is po na ibibigay sa akin, I trust them naman po with my career.
"So alam kong kung anong ibibigay nila sa akin, yun yung feeling na nararapat para sa akin."
