Netizens are curious why actor Enrique Gil and former Pinoy Big Brother housemate–beauty queen Franki Russell were seen together.
On Friday, September 6, 2025, Bohol-based content creator Natnat Wabe Vibes posted on Facebook that he spotted Enrique walking by the beach huts on Balicasag Island in Panglao, Bohol.
Walking beside him were Franki and her non-showbiz best friend.
In the short vlog, Natnat said Enrique and Franki went snorkeling and turtle-watching on the island. The video also showed Enrique granting fans’ requests for photos, even while on vacation.
Another fan spotted Enrique and Franki at a hotel in Panglao. No further context was provided, but they were seen descending a staircase, possibly on their way to explore the island.

Fans immediately reacted online, with some speculating about a possible romance.
On X (formerly Twitter), some netizens wondered if the pair are now dating, and a few have already voiced support for the possibility that they’re a couple.
So far, neither Enrique’s nor Franki’s camp has issued a statement.
Prior to Enrique and Franki being spotted, actress Liza Soberano had already revealed she and Enrique parted ways in 2022.
In Sarah Bahbah’s podcast-cinema-documentary series Can I Come In, released on YouTube on August 14, 2025, Liza admitted their romance had ended and that neither she nor Quen had been fully honest with LizQuen fans.
“I’ve been honestly itching to tell people this because I haven’t been very truthful. Quen hasn’t been very truthful. Quen and I broke up,” she said.
This confirmed Cabinet Files' report on PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) dated December 2023 that Liza broke up with Enrique as early as October 2022.
