Aminado si Michelle Dee, 30, na hindi naging madali para sa kanya ang ginawang pag-amin na isa siyang LGBTQ+ member.
Taong 2023, ilang linggo pagkatapos makoronohan bilang Miss Universe Philippines, isinapubliko ni Michelle ang kanyang sexual orientation.
Tinukoy niya ang sarili bilang bisexual.

Sa pakikipagpalitan ng mensahe ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) noong October 5, 2025, binalikan ni Michelle ang nararamdaman niya noong panahong iyon.
"A lot of it was internal. There was fear, not just of judgment, but of how people might change the way they perceive me," pag-amin ni Michelle.
Pero nagdesisyon daw siyang magpakatotoo.
"It took time to unlearn that. I had to remind myself that being true to who I am doesn’t take away from what I’ve achieved, it actually adds to it.
"Once I embraced that, everything just felt lighter. It’s like finally being able to breathe."
May payo si Michelle sa mga hindi pa handang isapubliko ang kanilang sexual orientation.
Sabi ng actress-beauty queen: "There's no fixed timeline for coming out.
"You don't owe the world an explanation—who you truly are and your orientation is a private matter you can choose to safeguard.
"So take your time and do it when it feels safe. The key is to be kind to yourself in your journey."

MICHELLE DEE'S SONG
Sa Love Laban 2025, isang pride event noong Hunyo, ipinalabas ang special music video ng kanyang debut single na "Reyna," isang collaborative project sa pagitan ng ABS-CBN Music at GMA.
Balik-tanaw ni Michelle: "'Reyna' was really inspired by the people around me, the community that’s taught me strength, confidence, and self-expression.
"It’s a love letter to everyone who’s ever felt the need to prove their worth, when in reality, they already had it all along.
"The visuals are bold and fun, but underneath all the glitter is a story about empowerment and owning your narrative."

NEW ENDORSEMENT
Isa si Michelle sa ambassadors ngayon ng OK Games.
Sa kabila ng kontrobersiyang kinahaharap sa ngayon ng online gaming, ano ang rason kung bakit tinanggap niya ang endorsement?
Paliwanag ni Michelle: "I'm happy to be part of something that promotes responsible fun.
"At the end of the day, gaming should bring people excitement and bring them together as well, and I love that OK Games is creating that kind of space.
"Through OK Cares, they support advocacies that help different communities, and they also have screen-time safeguards (which is unique) that remind players to take healthy breaks. It’s nice to see a platform that understands balance."
