Kinumpirma ni Jake Cuenca na hiwalay na sila ng nobyang si Chie Filomeno at ikinalungkot niya ang pangyayari.
Nitong mga nakaraang linggo ay kumalat ang balitang tinuldukan na nina Jake at Chie ang kanilang relasyon matapos nilang in-unfollow ang isa't isa sa Instagram.

Ayon kay Jake: "I'm good at least... it's a lot to take, di ba? It's a little bit... ang daming nangyayari. Ang daming sinasabi ng mga tao.
"But, siguro I can officially say that that chapter of my life is over now."
Hindi direktang binanggit ni Jake ang pangalan ni Chie sa panayam, pero idiniin niyang minahal niya ito.
Taong 2023 nang aminin nilang nasa dating stage sila.

Saad ng Kapamilya actor: "To be quite honest with you, parang, you know, I can at least say that I really loved that person deeply, di ba?
"And for me, I respect that person 'til today.
"I'm allowed a lot of time to process everything and accept everything.
"And for me, di ba, pag mahal mo naman talaga ang isang tao, you wish them all the happiness in the world.
"And you want them to be happy and you want them to be loved as well."
Inusisa ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kung bad breakup ba ang nangyari sa kanila ni Chie.
Paglilinaw niya, "There wasn't a breakup. Yeah, there was no breakup."
Na parang wala lang?
Sagot niya, "No. For me... No, for me, hindi. Hindi wala na lang.
"Like I said, I loved that person deeply, di ba? Hindi wala na lang.
"That was incredibly important to me, di ba? But that chapter is over now and I have to accept that."
Nakausap ng PEP at ilang piling media si Jake sa presscon ng pelikula nila ni Baron Geisler na The Delivery Rider.

HOW IS JAKE CUENCA COPING?
Paano siya nagmu-move on mula sa pagtatapos ng relasyon nila ni Chie?
Pahayag ni Jake: "A lot of great things are happening in my life right now.
"I have a movie coming out. I have another presscon coming up for another series called What Lies Beneath.
"So, siguro the most challenging part about this whole process is... siyempre napapanood na ako ng tao sa Batang Quiapo but they don't know I've made a movie.
"They don't know na I was doing all these things all together, di ba?
"And siguro the challenge this past month, probably, it's like I didn't have time to be Jake at all.
"I had to be Miguelito Guerrero. I had to be Edong in What Lies Beneath. I had to be Rodan in this movie.
"And parang kahit mahirap, even if it's difficult to go to work, because I'm very different from these characters.
"As you can see, yung pinu-portray ko sa TV, as these characters, yung ibang-iba sa personalidad ko, but I have to, you know....
"These past few months hasn't been easy kasi I didn't... I've been working six days a week, di ba? And there's no time to be Jake.
"It's almost like uuwi, pahinga, diretso na sa taping. Diretso na sa Miguelito, diretso na sa Edong.
"Monday, Wednesday, Friday is Batang Quiapo.
"Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday is What Lies Beneath.
"And I don't complain because this is my dream talaga. This is, this is my life, di ba?
"And kahit I'm not in the mood to do it, kahit mahirap, kahit... you know, even if I'm heartbroken or down about it, I still have to do it because I'm an actor, di ba?
"Everything you see here, you know, lahat ng nakikita niyo dito, this is a 25-year-long career na pinaghirapan ko.
"Na even when I was down, I had to pick myself back up and do it again, di ba?"
Mahalaga raw kasing panindigan ni Jake ang kanyang mga natanguang trabaho.
Dagdag niya, "This career I worked so hard for, no one gave me anything here.
"You know, I had to go the long way. Mag-audition, pumasok ng pintuan...
"Then 25 years later si Jake Cuenca na ang nakikita niyo.
"That, I'm very proud of. And I'll always be proud of that."
Samantala, tahimik si Chie matapos makiusap na huwag nang pag-usapan pa ang pribado niyang buhay.
