Ginanap ang awarding ceremony sa Jakarta, Indonesia, noong November 28, 2025.
Si Rico ay nanalo para sa kanyang programang Beyond the Exchange with Rico Hizon ng ANC.
Inilunsad noong 1996, ang Asian Television Awards “is the Asian TV industry’s most significant and celebrated event, recognizing excellence in programming, production, and performance,” ayon sa website nito.
Ang award-giving body “is Asia's most highly regarded recognition for the broadcast and video industry,” dagdag rito.

Bukod sa mga bumubuo ng Asian Television Awards, pinasalamatan din ni Rico ang ANC at ABS-CBN News na nasa likod ng kanyang programa.
Saad pa ni Rico: “As our nation navigates challenging times, this recognition inspires us even more to uphold journalism that is factual, balanced, and grounded in truth.
“We dedicate this award to every Filipino who believes in responsible, credible reporting.”
Hindi ito ang unang international award ng ANC program.
Ang Beyond the Exchange ang nanalo sa Current Affairs – Philippines Awards sa Asia Pacific Broadcasting Awards noong Mayo 2025.
Si Rico ang isa sa dalawang Pilipinong nagwagi sa Asian Television Awards ngayong taon.
Ang isa pa ay si Charms Espina, na nanalo bilang Best News Presenter or Anchor para sa PTV News Tonight ng PTV 4.
May kabuuang 58 categories ang Asian Television Awards.
Pangalawang panalo na ito ni Rico mula sa award-giving body. Pinarangalan din siya bilang Best News Anchor sa 2014 Asian Television Awards.
Nagsimula ang Beyond the Exchange with Rico Hizon noong November 5, 2024.
Isa itong weekly program kung saan ang guests ay industry leaders, entrepreneurs, at prominent personalities para sa kanilang “insights, expertise, and stories of hope amid the hustle and bustle of the business landscape, and celebrate those who embody the Filipino entrepreneurial spirit and innovation,” ayon sa ABS-CBN Corporate press statement.
Isang batikang broadcast journalist, si Rico ay dating news anchor sa CNBC Asia at BBC.
Unang beses niyang makapagtrabaho sa ABS-CBN News para sa kanyang talk show.
Nakatanggap na rin siya noon ng mga pagkilala, tulad ng Best Factual Presenter sa Asian Academy Creative Awards at "Men Who Matter" awardee ng People Asia Magazine. Pinarangalan din siya ng Pamana ng Pilipino Presidential Award mula sa Office of the President.
