In hindsight, 2016 was a good time career-wise for Ellen, who turned 28 on April 2 that year.
She was seen in the ABS-CBN series Pasión de Amor, Greatest Love, and Langit Lupa.
It was also the year when she joined the sitcom Home Sweetie Home top-billed by Toni Gonzaga and John Lloyd Cruz.
Ellen and John Lloyd eventually fell in love, leaving the show the following year to step away from the spotlight as they became parents to their son, Elias.
