In the coming weeks, beauty queen Krishnah Gravidez will officially hand over the Miss World Philippines crown to her successor.

As she prepares for her final walk as the reigning titleholder, she’s also looking forward to the next chapter of her journey especially when it comes to her career.

In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the media on Friday, January 16, 2026, at the press presentation of candidates for the pageant’s 13th edition, Krishnah opened up about her plans after her reign.

Is showbiz on her radar?

"Let’s see!" she answered with enthusiasm.

Krishnah revealed that she has began dipping her toes into the entertainment industry and taking on hosting gigs through Arnold Vegafria, who will continue to manage her after she steps down.

"Right now, Sir Arnold [Vegafria] has been giving me opportunities and opening doors for me to explore showbiz," she shared.

"Hopefully, hopefully [magtuluy-tuloy]. Recently, I also started hosting different pageants and events."

She added that hosting and acting are the two areas she’s most excited to pursue further: "Those are the top two professions I’m really looking forward to exploring more. Hopefully, hopefully in the future, mas mag-grow pa ako."

PEP also asked Krishnah if she was interested in delving deeper into the music scene—especially since she released her debut single, “Rainbow,” under Universal Records Philippines in July 2025.

Krishnah lit up at the question, sharing that music has always been close to her heart and it is definitely another path she hopes to pursue more seriously.

The 24-year-old beauty queen elaborated: "Yes, I would love to explore more of the music industry, actually.

"When I had my first gig, I felt really nervous but I felt really good at that time. Kaya sabi ko, maybe I can explore more this aspect of my life.

There’s no doubt that Krishnah possesses all the hallmarks of a true beauty queen—from her commanding stage presence to her unwavering dedication to her advocacies.

Throughout her reign, she has earned admiration not only from pageant fans but also from the public who have witnessed her journey.

With such strong qualities and an impressive track record on both the national and international stage, many are naturally curious whether she’ll give pageantry another shot in hopes of securing a major crown.

After her reign as Miss World Philippines, is joining another major pageant part of her future plans?

Krishnah answered, "Ay! Yung, yung question na iyan, well, right now I'm just really focused on fulfilling the Miss World Asia duties because I really respect the platform and the Miss World Organization, Miss World Philippines Organization.

"So yeah, right now I'm just really happy to fill this position, and hopefully I'm making the country proud out of it."

Meanwhile, Krishnah said she is looking forward to crowning her successor.

The search for the next Miss World Philippines is now underway, with the competition set to culminate on February 3, 2026 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

One thing that stood out to her about this year’s batch of hopefuls is how fresh-faced they all are. A total of 24 candidates are competing in this year’s pageant, and none of them have previously represented the Philippines on an international stage.

She said, "Right now, ang daming fresh faces and that's what I like in this batch.

"I've seen all of them and they're equally gorgeous and lahat sila, you know, they have potential to win the crown and to be my successor."

When asked what advice she would give the candidates, Krishnah encouraged them to stay true to their core—something she believes will guide them not only throughout the competition, but also long after it ends.

The beauty queen said, "Maybe one piece of advice lang, just always know your core kasi kahit saan ka mapunta, yun yung ano e, sandigan mo e, yung anchor mo.

"Not only as a beauty queen but as a person."

She continued, "In a pageant competition, you will not only be tested as a beauty queen. Every day you will be tested as a person.

"You know, nakikita man ng tao o hindi mate-test ka as a person. Mental health mo, your emotional stability, all of the aspects of your life.

"So you must know why you started in the first place. Do you really want to be in this position? Because that will be your anchor.

"So maybe that's the piece of advice that I would want to share to the next queen. And of course, I will be here, you know... any help that I can give."

As for her successor—who many believe has big shoes to fill, especially after Krishnah’s near-win at the Miss World pageant and her title as Miss World Asia—Krishnah’s advice is for candidates to view her achievements, as well as those of previous titleholders, as sources of inspiration rather than pressure.

She said, "I feel like lahat naman may pressure, e. Yung dala-dala mo pa lang yung sash ng Philippines, may pressure na agad yun.

"So added pa yung kunwari yung successor mo, of course, Megan Young, she won the title. And may pressure na rin at that time na kailan masusundan si Miss Megan Young, ganun. I've also felt that pressure.

"Pero I would say all of us are different. Magkakaiba kami ng journey. We also have different strengths."

Krishnah continued, "So I think we just need to focus on those strengths and use those as, you know, our edge going towards the international competition.

"Kasi magkakaiba kami ng destiny e. So I think it's a good thing to see, you know, our predecessors, their strength, as well, how did they navigate their way towards their success.

"So yun siguro, we'll take this as an inspiration and use that as a motivation, you know, in competing internationally."
