PRC EXPLAINS REASON FOR WITHHOLDING NAME OF TOP 1

Bungad ng pahayag ng PRC: “it is noted that the Top 1 examinee was withheld from the list which needs further verification due to matters arising during the confidential deliberations conducted by the Professional Regulatory Board of Medicine which it could not verify while quarantined.”

Klinaro ring ang delay ay walang kinalaman sa pagdududa sa integridad at kakayahan ng Top 1 dahil sa “remarkable and consistent performance across all subjects” nito.

Sadyang may mga prosesong dapat pagdaanan kaya “temporarily withheld pending the completion of a comprehensive review and statistical analysis, as well as the verification of submitted reports from the concerned Regional Office.”

Paglilinaw pa ng PRC: “This measure was undertaken not to cast any doubt on the examinee’s integrity or capabilities, but to affirm the accuracy and reliability of the results through the Commission’s standard validation process.

“…and it is precisely for this reason that a careful review was warranted—to ensure that the results are fully confirmed and duly recognized in accordance with the Commission’s policies and standards."

After more than a week, opisyal na inilabas ang pangalan ng Top 1, si Erwin Ken A. Parchaso, estudyante ng Lyceum-Northwestern University sa Dagupan, Pangasinan.

Pagtatapos ng PRC: “After due evaluation and verification, the result of the examination for the Top 1 candidate was officially released on 17 April 2026, and his name has since been included in the list of Top 10 successful examinees of the March 2026 Physician Licensure Examination.”
