Two Filipinas continue to fly the country’s flag high as they advanced to the next round of the inaugural Miss Grand International All-Stars pageant, currently taking place in Bangkok, Thailand.
Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados and Miss International Queen 2022 Fuschia Anne Ravena both secured spots in the Top 18 following the preliminary competition.
The Top 15 candidates were selected based on their performances in the swimsuit, bare face, and evening gown segments, along with fan votes.
For transparency, the organization displayed the preliminary scores on screen. Gazini Ganados ranked 11th, while Fuschia Anne Ravena placed 13th—both earning enough points to advance to the next round.
Meanwhile, the other Filipina contenders did not make the cut, with Keylyn Trajano placing 27th, Imelda Schweighart at 31st, and Alexia Núñez finishing at 33rd.
The remaining three spots in the Top 18 were filled by winners of the fast-track challenges, including Thet San Andersen of Myanmar (Portrait Challenge winner) and Azzaya Tsogt-Ochir of Mongolia (Runway Challenge winner).
Vietnam’s Huong Giang was named winner of the World’s Choice Award, a special recognition that was originally meant to automatically secure a semifinal spot.
However, since she had already qualified for the Top 15 based on her scores, the additional slot was passed on. As a result, 16th-placer Zewen Qin of China took the spot and advanced to the next round.
