Asia's Next Top Model Cycle 5 winner Maureen Wroblewitz on discussing period in public: "Most women grow up being ashamed of it, we learn to hide our pads and tampons in public to make other people feel comfortable but why? It's part of being a woman."

Sa kanyang Instagram kahapon, June 18, 2026, ibinahagi ni Maureen ang OOTD (outfit of the day) niya habang nasa airport.

Nakalagay sa text overlay sa post ni Maureen, "started my period on the day of my 21h flight but at least i'm wearing the perfect color"

Caption ni Maureen, "yeah that was not fun"

Komento ng isang follower niya, "Never knew that this fit is perfect as Airport fit"

Tugon ni Maureen, "it’s so comfyyyy"

MAUREEN WROBLEWITZ: "periods are normal."

Buong komento ng netizen: "@mauwrob double negatives in a sentence is always confusing. As for the subject matter, maybe use filters or just send to your friends/followers.

"I am not sure is relevant to the public or at least 50 pct of the public. This a personal health item and should remain private."

Buong saad ni Maureen, "most my followers are female so yes it is relevant! And periods are normal.

"Most women grow up being ashamed of it, we learn to hide our pads and tampons in public to make other people feel comfortable but why? It's part of being a woman.

"You saying this is 'tmi' or a 'personal health item' tells me everything and just means talking about it is even more important!!"
