[Trigger Warning: Mental Health, Depression]
Drag queen and Drag Race Philippines star M1ss Jade So shared a personal update days after her TikTok livestream sparked concern among fans and fellow drag performers.
On July 20, 2026, Jade went live looking visibly distressed.
Shortly after, the Alfio Family and Haus of M1ss Jade So released a statement assuring the public that Jade was safe and being cared for by her loved ones.
The statement also stressed that Jade "does not hold anyone accountable for her emotional distress or the personal crisis she experienced," explaining that she was "in an extremely vulnerable and overwhelmed state, crying out for help."
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, July 25, 2026, Jade posted a selfie and candidly opened up about her path to healing as she continues to focus on her mental health and recovery.

She began her message by writing, “i take it back, music will heal me, and will always heal us.”
The drag artist revealed that she has been surrounded by family, friends, and supporters while also seeking professional help from psychologists.
She is now moving forward, rediscovering the value of life even after achieving many of her goals.
In her words: "I have been surrounded by my family, friends and supporters with non-stop love and comfort.
"i’m also seeking help with psychologists for my mental health that was destroyed by a lot of problems.
"i need to learn life after downfall, what’s the importance of life, appreciate life even if i already achieved my goals, and continue dreaming and aiming for the pinnacle. maybe this were part of the goddessafication?"
According to Jade, this challenging chapter took her by surprise, but she now views it as part of her growth and healing process.
She continued: "i did not see this coming but i need to acknowledge that this stage of life happened to me in order to continue life for the better, i learned that from my psychology aid.
"as i continue healing my mental health, i will do my best to stand up my ground and not let a person step on it.
"i am seeking help in case an oppressor will try to be in my way. as i resolve my problems one by one, i will not forget to breathe, smile, and live.
"i am guided with the people who i finally can trust fully, clearing all the manipulator, gaslighter, and matapobre person in my way. i will forever value authenticity over fake character disguised in power."
In another part of her message, Jade reflected on her purpose as an artist, saying her passion for art has always outweighed her desire for money or success.
The realization came after she watched the season premiere of Drag Race Down Under vs. The World, where she is one of the contestants, at home alongside her family and closest friends.
Jade wrote: "watching the episode made me realize that my purpose to live, to preach, and to share my unique knowledge to the world is something worth to behold and believe for.
"art was always the thing that i fell in love with, not the money."
She added that despite the challenges she currently faces, including the possibility of losing work opportunities with brands and bars, she remains optimistic about what lies ahead.
Jade said: "if this stage of life will be the reason for losing on working for the brands and the bars, then so be it.
"I know warehouses, theaters, arenas, stadiums and fields are waiting for me someday."
Toward the end of her post, Jade expressed her gratitude to everyone: "my family, my sisters, my friends, your messages and unwavering support gained something in me that uplifted my soul that was breaking apart.
"this time i am surrounded with a community that will not put me down. i am nothing without them.
"i am grateful for everyone who expressed their deepest compassion that i want to return to you all! i love you all!"
The drag performer hopes to bounce back and return stronger.
She wrote: “i am taking serious steps to fully recover so that i can proudly say and embody ‘i am strong coming back to drag, music & fashion’.”
Messages of support also poured into the comments section of Jade's post.
Among those who expressed their encouragement were fellow drag queen Brigiding, photographer BJ Pascual, news anchor and Drag Race Philippines judge Jervi Wrightson, influencer Pipay, drag performer Taylor Sheesh, and content creator Kerwin King, along with many other supporters.
