Inamin ni Jake Cuenca, 38, na mas ganado siyang magtrabaho dahil kasabay ng sunud-sunod niyang proyekto ay masaya rin ang kanyang buhay pag-ibig.

Bakas ang saya sa mukha ng Kapamilya actor nang banggitin sa kanya ang nobyang si Rabiya Mateo, 29.
"For me, you know, when I'm happy, that's when I feel, like, I'm at my best when I'm acting," nakangiting sabi ni Jake sa panayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
Pagpapatuloy niya: "It's easier for me to access emotions. It's easier for me to confront certain trauma or emotions because I'm in a happy place.
"And, like, when you're sad, going through it and then you have to act, mas mahirap siya. It feels like parang doble yung experience.
"So I'm just excited to unpack all these things in this play because I really do have the opportunity to show people what, you know, may, what I've been through in my past when it comes to breaking up and moving on."
Kamakailan lang ay gumawa pa ng reel si Rabiya ng sweet moments nila ni Jake.
Mula sa panonood ng concert at date nights hanggang sa mga simpleng tambay nila sa condo ay ibinahagi nila sa kanilang Instagram followers.
Para kay Jake, all-out talaga siya pagdating sa pakikipagrelasyon.
"You have to just, for me, enjoy each day. You know, live it one day at a time.
"And always choose each other. And for me, that always usually works out.
"Tsaka even if it doesn't, at least you know you gave your best. At least you know you gave that partner of yours everything."
Suportado rin ni Jake ang pagbabalik sa pag-aaral ni Rabiya.
Noong nakaraang buwan ay nag-enrol ang beauty queen-actress sa Doctor of Medicine program ng University of Sto. Tomas.
Si Rabiya ay nagtapos ng cum laude sa Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy sa Iloilo Doctors' College noong 2018.
"I'm so proud of her. Like, sabi ko nga, parang the mountain she's about to climb to go to UST Med, like, sabi ko hindi madali yun.
"Like, even I, like as academic as I am when it comes to theater and all that stuff, that's a different mountain, and I have so much respect for her and naka-support ako sa kanya all the way till she finishes."
Noong huling bahagi ng March 2026 nagsimulang mapansin ang pagkakamabutihan ng couple dahil sa palitan nila ng sweet messages sa Instagram.
Mula noon ay consistent na nakikita silang magkasama sa iba-ibang okasyon.
Bandang mid-May naman nang ibahagi ng dalawa ang kanilang Hong Kong trip.
Kalaunan ay kinumpirma nilang magkasintahan sila, at naging sila habang nagbabakasyon sa Hong Kong.

JAKE CUENCA NEW PROJECT
Nakapanayam ng PEP si Jake pagkatapos ng presscon para sa The Art of Breaking Up, na ginanap sa 9501 Restaurant sa ABS-CBN compound noong July 30, 2026.
Ang The Art of Breaking Up ay ang bagong collaboration ng Teatro Kapamilya Production at Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA).
Tampok dito sina Jake, Janella Salvador, Yen Santos, Nikki Valdez, Teroy Guzman, Bibeth Orteza, Carlitos Siguion-Reyna, at Ruby Ruiz.
Kasama rin sina Brent Manalo, JC Alcantara, Anna Luna, Dingdong Bahan, Analain Salvador, Jel Tarun, Yesh Burce, Jude Hinumdum, Meann Espinosa, at AJ Sison.
Bahagi rin ang Kapamilya singers na sina Jarren Garcia at Kolette Madelo.
