It’s Showtime! host Cianne Dominguez earned a spot in Century Tuna Superbods 2026 after initially missing the cut during the final callbacks.
Cianne was formally introduced as a wildcard finalist during the fitness competition's VIP Night held on August 6, 2026, at The Fifth, Rockwell, Makati City.
She stepped in as a replacement for former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Lou Yanong, who withdrew from the competition due to personal reasons.
The 20th-anniversary edition of Century Tuna Superbods is especially meaningful for Cianne, as she is competing alongside her father, Josh Florendo.
Even before being announced as a finalist, Cianne had already gained significant attention online. Her video posted on the social media platforms of PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) during the final callback amassed more than 20 million views.
During the VIP Night, Cianne admitted to PEP that she was surprised by the overwhelming response.
"Actually, hindi. Kasi nagulat din ako na ano, na parang naka-post. Pero okay lang din naman kasi sobrang happy din ako."

CIANNE DOMINGUEZ ON MISSING THE CUT DURING THE CALLBACKs
PEP asked Cianne how she felt when her name was not called during the final callbacks.
"Actually, okay lang din naman kung hindi ako nakapasok noong una kasi nga, yun nga na feeling ko...
"'Ayun nga, sabi ko, 'Kapag ka sumali ka kasi, dapat mag-expect ka ng yes or no...na makapasok ka or hindi.'
"So expected ko both answers. So kahit ano naman, okay lang din sa akin."
Cianne also recalled the moment she and her father learned she did not advance during the initial selection.
She said: "Di ba naunang tinawag yung girls... so second yung boys. Naka-smile ako sa kanya. Sabi ko, 'Hindi po e, pero... pero okay lang.'
"Tapos ayun, naghintay kami nung kanya. So natabunan... nung pumasok siya yung ano, kasi wala naman din talaga kaming na-feel, e, kasi masaya lang kami, e.
"So ayun, sobrang happy ako for him kasi second time niya na itong sumali.
"And yun, siya yung inspiration ko kung ba't din ako sumali."

Cianne DOMINGUEZ AS A WILDCARD
The television host said she was ecstatic when she eventually received the call confirming her spot in the finals.
"Sobrang saya ko sa lahat ng nagtanong sa akin talaga. Meron akong video sa phone ko na pagsabi sa akin ng... parang wildcard ako, na parang kasali na ako...
"Meron talaga akong mini Jesus sa kotse ko tapos pinakita ko doon sabi ko, 'Thank you, Lord. Grabe kang magsagot ng ano, ng prayers,' di ba?"
One of the first people she informed was her father.
Asked how he reacted, Cianne shared: "Sobrang saya. Nung ano nga, nung sinurprise ko siya na kasama ako, naiyak siya.
"Sabi niya, 'Panalo na ako kasi, uh, kasama kita.'
"Kasi yun, e, yung parang yung bonding naming dalawa and yun, sobrang saya ko and...nasa same na competition siya.
"Masaya ako na ginagawa ko ito with my dad."

Cianne DOMINGUEZ responds to criticism
Cianne's platform focuses on faith and fitness, encouraging people to strengthen not only their physical health but also their spiritual well-being.
This has also sparked online discussions, particularly among some netizens who questioned how faith and wearing a swimsuit in a fitness competition could go together.
For Cianne, however, the two are not mutually exclusive.
She said: "May mga ilan akong nabasa na parang glorifying God pero pinapakita yung body.
"As long as you're doing it for the Lord, walang, wala akong nakikitang problema.
"Paano ba sumayaw si David according to the Bible? Pano ba siya nag-glorify kay God? Paano ba niya pinraise si God according to the Bible? Di ba naka-hubo't hubad?"
She continued: "Pero ayun nga, as long as you're glorifying God with your body, it's about your heart.
"God looks at your heart and hindi siya tumitingin sa kung anong... basta as long as you're glorifying Him, at alam ko sa sarili ko na gino-glorify ko Siya, ayun yun.
"Yes, and ilalaban ko pala Siya dahil ayun yung gusto kong malaman ng mga tao: Na wearing a swimsuit or kahit maghubad pa ako dito, hindi ito about lust or anything.
"About ito sa parang, uh, ayun nga, parang paggi-give back mo kay Lord sa kung anong, uh, kasi borrowed body ito, e.
"So ayun, I'm just glorifying Him in everything that I do, everything that I say, everything that I think, lahat."
