Singer Kris Lawrence is grateful for the overwhelming support being shown to his much-talked-about online tandem with former partner Katrina Halili.
Over the past year, Kris and Katrina have captured the attention of netizens through a series of lighthearted and feel-good social media videos.
Now popularly known as "Mr. & Ms. B," the former couple has built a loyal following online, with fans eagerly watching their interactions and wondering whether a romantic reconciliation may still be possible.
Their videos, often marked by playful banter, spontaneous hugs, and affectionate moments, have become a source of entertainment and "kilig" for many viewers.
The pair's dynamic has even inspired renewed interest in their personal story, particularly because they share a 13-year-old daughter, Katie.
Reflecting on the positive comments they continue to receive, Kris expressed his appreciation for the support.
“I feel so grateful that we’re being received so positively by netizens," Kris shared in a statement sent to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press.
He continued, "It makes us feel like what we’re doing is headed in the right direction.
"Where it leads, we don’t know, but we’re kinda just going with the flow.”
KRIS LAWRENCE AND KATRINA HALILI: UNLOVE YOU
Since their videos started going viral last year, many fans have been hoping Kris and Katrina might eventually find their way back to each other.
Their lighthearted and feel-good content has become a favorite among netizens, who enjoy watching their growing bond as co-parents and friends.
Fueling the buzz even more is Kris' latest single, "Unlove You."
Some fans can't help but connect the song's message to his relationship with Katrina, especially with the lyrics that goes, “Whether we’re together or apart or find somebody new, I could never unlove you.”
The ballad talks about a love that remains, even after two people have gone their separate ways.
Asked about the inspiration behind the track, Kris remained careful not to reveal too much.
He said, “It’s about the one ex that you could never unlove, ‘the one that got away.’”

Recorded in the United States in August 2025, "Unlove You" marks another collaboration between Kris and Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer Lil Eddie, a longtime friend of the singer.
Known for his 2013 hit Statue, Lil Eddie has worked with international artists such as Usher, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Maluma, Daddy Yankee, and Britney Spears.
He also co-wrote "Nobody," Kris's 2025 single inspired by his daughter Katie.
“I’m super excited because Lil Eddie will be in town this week to help promote 'Unlove You,'” Kris shares.
He adds, “Lil Eddie wrote the song in two hours. My producer in the States, Chokobeats, and I created the groove. We built the tracks around the guitar hook you hear at the start.”
The song was released on Spotify on June 24, while its music and lyric videos are now available on YouTube. The official music video, shot in Los Angeles, California, in September 2025, also features Lil Eddie and model Chey.
KRIS LAWRENCE ON KATIE
Amid the growing popularity of their online tandem, Kris said no one may be happier about the positive development between him and Katrina than their daughter Katie.
The couple's family-oriented content frequently features the teenager, giving followers a peek into their life as co-parents.
Kris proudly shares, “I think Katie is genuinely happy. You can see it in the way she smiles, the way she laughs, and the sense of security she carries.
"One thing I’ve learned is that children thrive when the people they love choose peace over pride.
"Katrina and I have worked hard to create that kind of environment for her, and we’ve seen beautiful progress – not because of one person, but because of consistency, patience and love.
"At the end of the day, that’s what matters to me.”
Upcoming shows
Aside from promoting "Unlove You," Kris is staying busy with a series of performances in the coming months.
The singer recently completed a successful U.S. and Canada tour and is now preparing for upcoming shows at KDR Adventure Camp on August 16, NOCTOS on September 10 and 11, Chicago on October 16, Toronto with Lil Eddie on October 17, Bakersfield, California on October 23, and Alaska on October 25.
His September 10 and 11 appearances at NOCTOS will also serve as an advance birthday celebration with family, friends, and supporters.
