Tumatanaw pa rin ng malaking utang na loob ang singer na si Jed Madela sa mga nagawa ng dati niyang manager na si Annie Mercado sa kanyang karera.
Kalagitnaan ng July 2024 nang maghayag ng galit si Annie kay Jed dahil sa bagong kanta ng singer noon na "I Wish U The Worst."
Tila nasaktan si Annie sa ilang linya ng kantang "I Wish U The Worst."
Himutok ng talent manager sa isang social media post: “Wish u the worst” (his new song) - this song tells you so much about the kind of person the singer truly is. Title pa lang he invested on negativity na.
"Its Full of negativity, hate, and bitterness always playing the 'victim' when he is the offender.
"He’s always played the game 'if the shoe fits'… well sorry, i dont wanna play… i don’t hide behind songs and post with double meanings."
Banta pa noon ni Annie sa singer: "So here it is: Jed Madela, dont taunt me with a song.
"Panindigan mo yan ha. Let’s go to the press and tell all. If you dont wanna, i will. I think people wanna know the truth.
"Share until this reaches him because he blocked all of us."

Sa presscon ng Unang Siklab LIYAB: Mga Himig ng Dakilang Pag-lbig concert noong nakaraang linggo, inusisa ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Jed kung nagkakausap pa ba sila ni Annie.
Sagot ng mahusay na singer: "Yes, we ended already our relationship and things are doing okay, I guess, on their end and my end.
"Doing for the better na siguro.
"I guess that's... yun lang siguro na naging chapter ng buhay namin sa isa't isa.
"And, of course I... I'm grateful sa lahat ng mga ginawa niya for me and I wish them well, of course. Kaya we already moved on."

JED MADELA ON CONCERT WITH RYAN CAYABYAB
Samantala, masayang-masaya si Jed na makakasama siya sa Unang Siklab LIYAB: Mga Himig ng Dakilang Pag-lbig concert na gaganapin sa September 20, 2026, sa Theatre at Solaire.
Ang LIYAB ay selebrasyon ng musika, pag-ibig, pagkakaibigan, at pagkamatiisin ng mga Pilipino sa pamamagitan ng mga awitin ng National Artist na si Ryan Cayabyab.
Saad ni Jed: "Well, of course, it's a celebration of music of our National Artist, Ryan Cayabyab.
"And to be part of it, siyempre it's such an honor na siyempre to be part of Ryan Cayabyab production. Lahat gustong maging part of it. So ayon, sobrang excited ako."
Bukod kay Jed, kasama rin sa guest singers sina Martin Nievera, Lea Salonga, Ogie Alcasid, Bituin Escalante, Gigi de Lana, Sofronio Vasquez, at Arman Ferrer.
Kasama rin sa concert ang 200-member na LIYAB Grand Chorale, na kinaaniban ng walo sa mga tinitingalang choirs sa bansa: Ateneo Chamber Singers, Imuscapella, Konsertus, Mass Appeal, Novo Concertante, PCSO Chorale, UP Concert Chorus, at ang UP Manila Chorale.
