Hindi natupad ang back-to-back win na pinakaaasam ng Filipino pageant fans dahil Top 10 finalist lamang ang Philippine representative na si John Wayne Alba sa 18th Mister International.
Ginanap ang male pageant noong Sabado, Setyembre 26, 2026, sa MCC Hall of the Mall Lifestore Bangkapi, Bangkok, Thailand.
Si Andres Briseño ng Mexico ang nagwagi na 18th Mister International at siya ang successor ni Kirk Bondad ng Pilipinas, ang 17th Mister International.
First runner-up si Ignacio Monclus Pradal ng Spain at second si Gede Aiswarya Kartika ng Indonesia.
Si Dogukan Navdar ng Turkiye ang third runner-up, si Vu Linh Nguyen ng Vietnam ang fourth runner-up, at fifth runner-up si Madushan Ravindu Wijesooriya ng Sri Lanka.
Best National Costume winner si Gede Aiswarya Kartika ng Indonesia, Best in Swimwear at Best Social Impact awardee si Gideon Ebosetale Abure ng Nigeria, samantalang si Madushan Ravindu Wijesooriya ng Sri Lanka ang Mister People Choice.
KIRK BONDAD FAREWELL SPEECH
Pinigilan ni Kirk ang mapaluha sa kanyang farewell speech.
At sa umpisa pa lang, sinabi niya na, “I promise I won’t cry in front of you. I will do that backstage."
Pagkatapos ay inalala niya ang impact sa kanya ng pageant.
"One year ago, precisely, my name was called on this stage for representing the Philippines.
"And since then, this title has taken me to the most memorable journey of my life.
"And over the years, I’ve seen pageantry from every angle, as a contestant, as a judge, and as a winner.
"And I’ve had the privilege of working with multiple organizations and cultures and have come to understand what truly sets a great pageant at heart," madamdaming sabi niya.
“Amazing, incredible at magical” ang pagsasalarawan ni Kirk sa kanyang reign bilang 17th Mister International.
Dagdag pa niya, “It feels absolutely amazing. It feels incredible. I would even go so far and say it feels magical.
"But no reign lasts forever.
"Calling myself as Mister International has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
"So to the man who’s name will be called tonight, the responsibility will be yours to carry. But what it means will be determined by what you do with it so make it count.
"For the last time, I’m Kirk Bondad, Mister International. Thank you and goodbye,” ang pamamaalam ni Kirk.
Binigyan siya ng pagkakataon na sumayaw sa entablado nang matapos ang kanyang farewell speech kaya muling napanood ang talento niya sa pagsasayaw.
Nang ianunsiyo ang pagkapanalo ni Briseño ay isa si Kirk sa mga lumapit para mag-congratulate rito.
