Drag queens Khianna and Shae Shue K are taking their relationship to the next level as they got engaged after seven years together.
Khianna, the runner-up of Drag Race Philippines Season 3, proposed to her longtime partner and fellow drag performer Shae Shue K during a live performance at CAKE by Brigiding on Thursday, November 5, 2026.
The surprise proposal took place while they were performing Ashe's song "Stop the Wedding."
In front of the audience, Khianna went down on one knee and asked Shae to spend the rest of her life with her.
"Shae-Shae, I love you so much. I've been thinking about this for the seven years of our existence.
"I wanna share this moment with my family. Shae-Shae, will you marry me?" Khianna said.
Shae later shared the happy news on her Instagram account, showing off her engagement ring.
In her caption, she highlighted the importance of equal rights and legal protection for the LGBTQIA+ community.
"Love is a protest for some of us because we don't have equal rights! We all deserve love and full legal protection. WE SAY PASS SOGIE BILL, CIVIL UNION BILL, SAME SEX MARRIAGE, EQUAL RIGHTS!
"Dapat bakla! Merong bakla! Mahal ko ang mga bakla!!! Puso, puso at puro paren."

In a separate Instagram post, Shae admitted that she initially thought the proposal was part of their performance.
"Akala ko sa movie o teleserye lang ito nangyayari; sa totoong buhay din pala.
"Akala ko part lang ng performance, totohanan na pala. At akala ko hanggang sana all lang kami.
"But this time, finally engaged na kami at may forever sa aming dalawa," she announced.

She also expressed her excitement about spending the rest of her life with Khianna.
"Seven years and counting, and to many more moments with you, my LOVE.
"Tandaan mo, I'm always here for you. Mamahalin kita araw-araw, and excited ako makasama ka habang-buhay," Shae added.
CONGRATULATORY MESSAGES FOR KHIANNA AND SHAE
The engagement drew congratulatory messages from fellow drag performers and fans.
Among those who celebrated the milestone was Drag Race Philippines Season 3 contestant Zymba Ding, who witnessed the proposal in person.
"So happy I witnessed that irl. From lovers to fiancées! So happy for you two! Congratulationsss plsss," Zymba wrote in an Instagram Story.
Meanwhile, Eva Le Queen, Maxie Andreison, Shewarmaa, and Brigiding also took to the comments section of Shae's engagement post to congratulate the couple.
Eva wrote, "Congrats!! Huhu, you guys make me believe in true love! Live the dream for all of us."
Maxie commented, "Congratulations, Khianna and Shae. Love you both."
Shewarmaa expressed her affection for the couple, writing, "Love ko both."
Brigiding, meanwhile, said, "Love wins!"
