The children of content creator Zeinab Harake have officially assumed the surname Parks following a five-year adoption process.
Zeinab and her husband, basketball player Bobby Ray Parks Jr., shared the news in a YouTube vlog uploaded on Friday, November 6, 2026.
Zeinab has two kids: Zebbiana, with her former partner, rapper-songwriter Skusta Clee, and Lucas, whom she adopted as a newborn in 2017.
In June 2025, Zeinab tied the knot with Bobby Ray in Tagaytay.
“Thank you to Daddy Ray kasi noong tinanong niya ako para pakasalan ako, hindi lang ako yung pinakasalan niya pati yung mga bata.
"Thank you for being a great father and talagang may paninindigan,” Zeinab said in the vlog.

ZEINAB HARAKE: A DREAM COME TRUE
Zeinab had always hoped her children would one day share her surname.
She first tried to start the adoption process for Lucas as a single mother at 22, but she couldn’t proceed because she was below the minimum age of 25.
“Since 2022 to now, after ng kasal namin, June 2025, mula noon inasikaso na namin. Even before pa ng kasal, inasikaso na namin.
"Nag-visit na kami sa social workers, [went through] psych tests and medical tests. Mabusisi talaga and maraming requirements,” Zeinab looked back.
For Bobby Ray, adopting the children was never a question, but rather a natural next step, particularly after marrying Zeinab.
But the adoption interviews were quite hurtful for the son of Bobby Parks Sr., seven-time Philippine Basketball Association’s Best Import.

The couple also shared a video of Lucas and Zebbiana ringing a symbolic bell to celebrate the legal adoption that officially granted them the Parks surname.
Another clip captured Zeinab receiving her children’s updated birth certificates bearing their new shared surname, an emotional moment that brought the content creator to tears.

GIVING CREDIT TO SOCIAL WORKERS
Zeinab and Bobby Ray thanked the social workers who helped and assisted them throughout the grueling adoption process.
The couple hopes that sharing their story will highlight the dedication and sacrifices of those who support children in need of loving homes and guide prospective parents through the adoption process.
“1.8 to 2 million na kids na abandoned, left behind, or nasa orphanage. Mahigit 2 million yun. Ngayon, it's literally 2,000 or less lang ang officially adopted per year. So, that means less than 0.1 percent,” Bobby Ray said.
Zeinab added, “So, itong vlog na to, hindi lang din ito para sa family namin. But sana makatok natin yung government natin, dagdagan yung mga social workers sa ibang-ibang municipality.”
Bobby Ray commented, “Yes, kailangan talaga nila yung resources. Honestly, they have the heart naman talaga to help. Ano lang talaga, kailangan lang din talaga ng tulong.”
Zeinab and Bobby Ray witnessed firsthand how the social workers would use their own money from their meager salaries to spend on transportation just to carry out their work.
“Isa pa ha, meron din tayong case na halimbawa pupunta sa ganitong lugar. Tapos doon sa specific na lugar na yun, walang nagma-manage na social worker,” Zeinab said.
“So, isipin niyo kung gano kadami yung mga taong gustong mag-adopt and kids na need to feel loved and secured. Yes. To have a family that's secured talaga.
“So ayun, sana madagdagan ng sahod ng mga social workers. Sana madagdagan ng kahit tig-iisang social workers bawat municipality, tuunan po ng pansin.”
