"Handa na ako sa mas masayang buhay. Siyempre, pag may kakaakibat na problema, you take the good with the bad," says Ryan Agoncillo.

After talking about the controversies surrounding Judy Ann Santos and her manager Alfie Lorenzo, Ryan Agoncillo was asked about the status of his relationship with his fiancée Judy Ann Santos.

"Handa na ako sa mas masayang buhay. Siyempre, pag may kakaakibat na problema, you take the good with the bad."

It has been reported that Judy Ann thought about having a shorter contract so that there wouldn't be any problems when she gets married. Does this mean that the wedding will take place soon?

"Well, with regards to the contract, I wouldn't know any details but with regards to the wedding, naaayos na, kaya ngayon ako nakikiusap kung puwede yung details pakibalato na lang muna sa amin.

"Right now, the broad strokes are in but the details will be filled up real soon...hopefully, before the year ends, plantsado na ang mga details."

Does he consider Pieta as a turning point for his career? "Buo ‘to, pangkabuhayan showcase ito!" he says with a laugh. "Pieta helps me in so many levels, it helps in the preparation for a family. Emotionally, it's very helpful for me na I have a role na pinagkatiwalaan ako ng napakabigat na proyekto. Professionally, this is a very big turning point to be cast in such a big project.

"I've gone through a lot his year. Nakapag-propose ako, nakagawa ako ng libro [Ploning coffee-table book], pero pagdating sa trabaho, zero. Nung pagdating ng June, gumanda ang dating ng trabaho kumbaga for six months, I was doing something for my soul. It gave me a chance to cultivate myself and be ready. Pieta gives me the opportunity to prove na mabuti kang tao, parang sabi, ‘Sige nga, try to handle this role na hindi ka nalulunod.'"

Now that his career is stable, is he ready to settle down with Juday?

"Kasado na naman ang kasal kahit noon pa, kumbaga ngayon mas sumasaya lang."

When asked if he and Juday have talked to their parents about their wedding, Ryan says that they have not yet done the Filipino practice of pamamanhikan because they want the details to be set before they meet with them.

UPCOMING PROJECTS. Aside from starring in Pieta, Ryan will also be seen in several new shows on ABS-CBN. The TV host-actor recently came from Argentina to shoot a reality game show with 14 Filipinos, two of whom are said to be celebrities. (Click here for related article)

"Pinoy Fear Factor took us a month to do it and it will air by the first week of November. It's a daily show that will air on primetime. As far as I know, it will run for 14 weeks."

After being repackaged as an action star in Pieta, Ryan will try his hand at comedy along with his fiancée Judy Ann. "We have a sitcom in the wings, I guess pagkatapos ng Pieta or Humingi Ako sa Langit. As far as I know, it's not a TV version of Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo but it's probably somewhere around that neighborhood. It's in the process of being written."

Judy Ann's nurseserye is said to be scheduled for next year. "Ang alam ko, yung Humingi Ako sa Langit, the reason kung bakit na-move kasi pinapaganda pa lalo. Bigatin yung kanilang cast, with
