Most talked about ang relationship ni Sam Milby kay Anne Curtis at ang kanilang breakup. Sa live guesting ni Sam sa The Buzz kahapon, November 16, isa-isa niyang sinagot ang 10 toughest questions ng The Buzz host na si Boy Abunda sa segment na "Tough Ten."
Bago simulan ni Boy ang Tough Ten questions, tinanong muna niya si Sam kung sanay na ba itong magpa-interview? Tugon naman ni Sam, "Opo."
Ayon kay Boy, for the longest time ay hindi talaga gano'n kakumportable magpa-interview si Sam pero he got used to it.
Pinag-usapan muna nina Boy at Sam ang bagong proyekto ng aktor na Cul De Sac.
"This is the first indie film I've done. It comes out malapit na malapit na, sa December 3."
What makes this film different?
"Siyempre, lahat ng movies dito sa Philippines, yung mga mainstream movies, normally, romantic-comedy. Pero ito, it's action-suspense. Walang love in the movie."
Sinabi rin ni Sam na okey lang siyang sumabak sa action dahil marunong din naman siya ng martial arts at mahilig siya sa sports.
After ng konting pasakalye ay sinimulan na ni Boy ang mabigat na pagtatanong kay Sam.
Tough Question No. 10: "Sam, you're one of the best looking [actors]. You have done so many hit movies. You're doing very well. You have a fabulous house. Ikaw ay mayaman, guwapo ka. You have a career. What is it that you don't have?"
"What I don't have is time with my family. Siyempre nandun pa sila sa States and we don't really got to talk that much talaga. So, time with my family, that's what I really don't have"
Tough Question No. 9: "Three names, Piolo Pascual, John Lloyd Cruz, Sam Milby. Sinong number 1, number 2, number 3?"
"I would say, Piolo, number 1. John Lloyd, number 2. Sam Milby, number 3."
Tough Question No. 8: "Sa mahigit isang taon ng relasyon n'yo ni Anne Curtis, deretsang tanong, have you been a faithful boyfriend?"
"I have been very faithful."
Tough Question No. 7: "Sa mahigit na isang taon ng inyong relasyon ni Anne Curtis, Sam, ilang beses ka umiyak at bakit?"
"A...many times, actually. At least, four... It's even more than that, but basta there's a lot of things that happened sa relationship namin ni Anne. Basta... and bakit? Ayoko nang mag-elaborate kung bakit. Sa amin na lang iyon."
Tough Question No. 6: "Doon sa interview ni Kris kay Anne Curtis last week sa The Buzz ‘True Confessions,' ang na-mention na cause ng inyong pagbi-break ay ang iyong paghahanap ng spiritual direction. Bakit ito ang naging cause ng inyong breakup?"
"First and foremost, I respect everything she said."
Kaagad na nag-followup question si Boy ng, "But do you agree to what she said na ang dahilan ng inyong paghihiwalay ay ang search mo ng spiritual direction?"
"I am working on my relationship with God. But I don't want to sound religious and self-righteous. You know there are things about us individually, that we must do as individuals, that we can't do together."
Sumundot ulit ng tanong si Boy, "I'm sorry, Sam, things that you can't do together, like?"
"Again, I really don't want to elaborate on that."
Tough Question No. 5: "Pagkatapos ng iyong sinabi, natural lang na ang susunod na tanong ay, kayo ni Anne... couldn't you and Anne find God together para lang ma-save ang relationship?
"Well, like I said, it's really hard to explain that most people won't understand. You know, what I'm saying is there are things about us that we need to work on as individuals. We can't help each other in that aspect. You know when you put God first... if you trust in God, you know...bringing her back. If He really wants us back together... You know what I mean."
Sabi ni Boy, "I know. If it's meant it's meant."
Tough Question No. 4: "Habang nasa Europe ka last week, nandito sa The Buzz si Anne Curtis sa ‘True Confessions' habang ini-interview siya ni Kris Aquino. May balita kaming nasagap na habang nagaganap ito sa The Buzz, ikaw ay umiiyak sa Europe . Question, is this true? At kung ikaw ay umiiyak, bakit?"
"Well, actually, she texted me before yung interview niya. She said, ‘I'll be on The Buzz today.' And then she said afterwards, she couldn't stop crying, parang ganyan. But I didn't cry. But of course I was sad."
Tanong uli ni Boy, "Nung nag-text si Anne na lalabas siya sa The Buzz, ano ang sinabi mo sa kanya?"
"Through texting, I said I felt bad also. But I told her, let it pass, everything's gonna be okay."
Tough Question No. 3: "Sam, deretsang tanong: may balak ka bang balikan si Anne Curtis?"
"I do, I do. You know, everything that we've been through, you can't take away how you feel. You know, it's still there. So, yeah."
Tough Question No. 2: "Sino si Rufa Mae Quinto sa buhay mo ngayon?"
"I'm so disappointed that she was even brought up. Because the last time we really hung out, the last time yung concert namin sa Manila Hotel. And then afterwards, we were having dinner, she just said, she is building a new house and she wants an architect. I told her, you should see my house. My architect is very, very good. Then she said, ‘Well, actually, your house is on my way home. Can I just drop by to see the house?' Yun lang. Walang romantic na nangyari. We just played the PlayStation. Yun lang."
Tough Question No. 1: "Deretsang tanong muli, may balak ka bang ligawan si KC Concepcion?"
"Hindi po. Wala akong balak to court KC. And I want to apologize to KC. I don't know why she was even brought up into...you know, the issue between Anne and I. I'm sorry, that this was even brought up. I apologize. I'm sorry."
