Kantar Media-TNS Nationwide Ratings (September 27-30, 2015): Eat Bulaga has four-point lead over It’s Showtime; FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano pilot week defeats Marimar

Here are the highlights of the comparative ratings of GMA-7, ABS-CBN, and TV5 programs from September 27-30, 2015, according to Kantar Media/TNS survey among nationwide households.

GMA-7 continued to dominate daytime while ABS-CBN remained strong on primetime.

Eat Bulaga was still the top daytime program during the given ratings period. Each of the three episodes had around a four-point lead over ABS-CBN’s It’s Showtime.

Showtime was often in the No. 3 slot except on September 30 when it moved up to the No. 2 slot, next only to Eat Bulaga. On this day, the Kapuso show featuring the AlDub loveteam got a national TV rating of 21% while Showtime got 17.6%.

GMA-7 also got higher ratings on its morning programming, which includes Unang Hirit and cartoons. Kris TV is also consistently beaten by cartoons airing on the Kapuso Network.

However, ABS-CBN’s afternoon dramas got higher ratings than Kapuso offerings.

GMA-7’s Sunday variety shows, Sunday Pinasaya and Wowowin, also defeated ASAP 20. Sunday Pinasaya scored a national rating of 17.2%, Wowowin got 17.1% and ASAP 20 got 13.3%.

It is interesting to note that the finale episode of To The Top was able to land in the No. 10 slot of most-watched programs nationwide. GMA-7’s talent search was able to get a national TV rating of 6.7% last September 27.

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN was still the leader of primetime programming.

The pilot episode of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano got 41.6%, defeating Marimar’s 16.3%. Starring Coco Martin, Ang Probinsyano was also the most-watched show on weekday primetime during its first three episodes.

Other ABS-CBN primetime offerings were also in the top five most-watched programs nationwide. They were Pangako Sa ‘Yo, TV Patrol, On the Wings of Love, and Pasion de Amor.
