Rockerpark returns to Eastwood City

Musicians become athletes for a day in support of Rockerpark, a campaign that aims to collect brand new, used, or previously owned sports equipment for public schools.

See Eastwood City turn into a rock ‘n roll playground when "athletes" from some of the country's most popular rock bands gather for the second edition of the Rockerpark series, a project by Rock Ed Philippines and Toby's Sports.



Rockerpark is a campaign that aims to collect brand new, used, or previously owned sports equipment for public schools under the Rock Ed P.E. Project. Rockerpark was launched on November 23, 2006.

Games start at 4 p.m. and will go on all night. Join the run at Eastwood City Central Plaza this Monday, January 29, and watch the streetball challenge featuring "athletes" from Sandwich, Spongecola, Dicta License, Kjwan, Up Dharma Down, Radioactive Sago Project, Greyhoundz, ChicoSci, Queso, Pupil, Stonefree, Severo, Mayonnaise, Soapdish, Session Road, Bagetsafonik, Brigada, Ten, The Ambassadors, Paramita, Twisted Halo, among others.

Bring your previously owned and used equipment to donate to public schools through the Rock Ed P.E. project. Rockerpark is presented by Rock Ed Philippines and Toby's Sports.

The event is open to the public.

Rock Ed Philippines is a volunteer group working to provide venues and events for alternative education. The convenors of Rock Ed have decided to rock society through education and educate the youth through rock culture.
