Janine Gutierrez and Aljur Abrenica will work with each other again in a new GMA-7 teleserye.
Titled Once Again, the new romantic-drama series of the Kapuso network also features veteran actors Christopher de Leon, Jean Garcia, Timmy Cruz, Sheryl Cruz, Joko Diaz, and Chanda Romero.
According to the Instagram posts of GMA’s official accounts @kapusoprgirl and @artistcenter, the new teleserye focuses on two destined lovers.
The series had its story conference yesterday, April 6.
GMA Network’s Instagram account (@gmanetwork) reveals that the two started taping their new series on April 7.
Janine and Aljur first teamed up in the daytime drama anthology Dangwa, produced by GMA News and Public Affairs.
Protégé winners and former love team partners Thea Tolentino and Jeric Gonzales will also reunite in this upcoming series, after starring in different projects.
Thea starred in the successful afternoon series The Half Sisters while Jeric was Ken Chan's other partner in the recently-concluded afternoon soap opera Destiny Rose.
Once Again is slated to air this May on GMA’s Telebabad block.
