Before becoming an ABS-CBN talent, Kris Aquino used to host GMA Supershow in the 1990s.
One of the most shocking moments on the show was when Kris accidentally fell through the stage!
This accident was caught on camera and the throwback video has recently surfaced online.
GMA Supershow hosts Mariz Ricketts and Maricel Laxa described Kris and Rene Requiestas as “the newest team to beat in the box office.”
Back then, Kris and Rene were paired with each other for the 1990 romantic-comedy movie Pido Dida.
The two went out on stage, waving to the crowd as they walked down the steps. They were supposed to sing a duet to promote their movie but this did not push through because of the accident.
The stage suddenly gave way and Kris fell while the late actor jumped down to assist her.
Several guys and girls also came from backstage to help pull out Kris.
To date, the one-minute video has registered over 1 million views on Facebook.
