After being seen in GMA-7 teleseryes for the past seven years, Geoff Eigenmann joins the cast of ABS-CBN's Be My Lady.
Geoff appeared in the June 21 episode of the daytime drama series starring Erich Gonzales and Daniel Matsunaga. Today's episode had the hashtag #BMLDoctorWho.
Last Saturday, June 18, it was revealed that he will portray the role of Dr. Joselito Mariano, a doctor in the hospital where Pinang (Erich) works.
This is according to Geoff's Instagram account where he posted a photo of him wearing a doctor's suit and nameplate.
At the same time, the official Instagram account of Be My Lady uploaded a video welcoming Geoff to the romantic drama series.
The question now is will Geoff's character play a third wheel to the blossoming romance of Pinang (Erich Gonzales) and Phil (Daniel Matsunaga)?
Last May, Geoff had a guest appearance in ABS-CBN's Saturday drama anthology Ipaglaban Mo wherein he played a cop.
The Ipaglaban Mo episode served as Geoff's first appearance on the Kapamilya network seven years after he left Channel 2.
Both Ipaglaban Mo and Be My Lady are produced by the unit handled by director Ruel S. Bayani.
Geoff started his career in GMA-7 and starred in shows Kahit Kailan and an installment of Love to Love.
But it was in the Kapamilya network where Geoff received his big break in showbiz. Back then, he was paired with Heart Evangelista and Anne Curtis in the 2004 drama series Hiram.
After that, he was given important roles in the shows Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin, Rounin, Hiram na Mukha, and Lobo.
In 2009, Geoff returned to GMA and was included in SRO Cinemaserye: Ganti. He also bagged the lead role in the primetime series Rosalinda, where he worked with then-newbie actress Carla Abellana.
Eventually, Geoff and Carla became a real-life couple but after four years, they broke up in 2014.

After that, he did several afternoon and primetime shows such as The Last Prince (2010), Basahang Ginto (2010), Grazilda (2010), Magic Palayok (2011), Legacy (2012), Kasalanan Bang Ibigin Ka? (2012), Forever (2013), and Adarna (2013).

Geoff's last teleserye in GMA was Kailan Ba Tama Ang Mali that was aired from January-April 2015. His very last appearance as a Kapuso was in an episode of Magpakailanman wherein he played an elf.
