Teddy Locsin Jr. is one of the latest celebrities to express admiration for the AlDub love team.
The TV anchor who hosts NoFilter@ANC even compared Maine Mendoza to Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston.
As for lead actor Alden Richards, Locsin described his portrayal as "pitch perfect."
In the comments section, the broadcast journalist revealed that he just watched the movie this Wednesday night, July 20.
It will be recalled that Kris Aquino also commended Alden and Maine when she watched the movie directed by Mike Tuviera.

Imagine You And Me is the first solo movie of Alden and Maine who comprise the AlDub love team featured in the Kalyeserye segment of Eat Bulaga.
In this light romance movie, Alden is cast as the troubled Andrew who is dealing with the pain of heartbreak while Maine brings life to Gara, a bubbly OFW who helps him cope with his loss.
Here are Locsin's tweets about the AlDub movie (published as is):
"IMAGINE YOU AND ME is a deft retelling of Rome&Juliet. Alden&Maine are refreshingly natural, not playing characters as living them.
"Maine is the most lovably funny girl on screen today; I keep thinking Jennifer Anniston [sic]. Alden's portrayal is pitch perfect; a polished …
"Mild exterior showing just enough tear to reveal hurt and a grudgingly growing affection that you think improbable and then only logical.
"The problem with IMAGINE YOU AND ME is that one cannot imagine a better or equal sequel. Like Zefferelli's movie, it will prove sui generis."
Sui generis is a Latin phrase that means "in class of its own."
The AlDub movie earned P21.5 million in the box-office on opening day--allowing it to get the highest first day gross for a Filipino film so far this 2016.
