A week after Descendants of the Sun started airing on GMA-7, viewers have felt kilig vibes because of Song Jong Ki and Song Hye Kyo, more popularly known as the "Song Song couple."
The series already finished airing in South Korea last April 22 and both Joong Ki and Hye Kyo are now busy with their respective schedules.
They met again last June 17 for a fan meeting at Chengdu city in Sichuan province of China.
In an article of Allkpop, Hye Kyo told attendees of the fan meeting about her first impression of her onscreen partner.
She said, as translated in English, "I was greatly looking forward to meeting him, because a lot of people told me that Song Joong Ki is very nice. And of course, he didn't let down my high expectations. He was even better than the image I had in mind. During the shoot, I realized that he is a very sincere person. He is a cool friend."
Hye Kyo joined Joong Ki on performing Yoon Mi Rae's song "Always" which was part of the show's official soundtrack. Joong Ki performs the song in his solo fan meetings.
