Its shows got better ratings than its Kapamilya counterparts, andgot the number one spots for both daytime and primetime.
On Saturday, July 30, Eat Bulaga! clinched the number one spot for daytime. It garnered a 21.1% rating, defeating It's Showtime's 13.9%.
Pepito Manaloto: Ang Tunay na Kwento, meanwhile, was number one for Saturday primetime. The sitcom got 22.9%, a fraction higher than the 22.6% earned by The Voice Kids.

Meanwhile, more viewers liked the face-off between Camille Prats and Gladys Reyes in Lip Syc Battle Philippines versus the celebrity housemates' return to the Pinoy Big Brother house in Manila.

Sunday Pinasaya was number one on daytime, getting a 17.3% rating against ASAP's 12%.
The Kapuso network's Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho then took the number one spot for primetime, with a 23.7% rating. It defeated ABS-CBN shows Wansapanataym (20%), Rated K (14.2%), and Pinoy Big Brother Vietnam (10.8%).
This given period also included the ratings for July 29, Friday.
ABS-CBN's FPJ's Ang Probinsyano remains the most-watched show on primetime.
GMA-7's Descendants of the Sun also aired its fifth episode, generating a 21.4% rating versus Dolce Amore's 20.1%.
