Luis Alandy returns to his former network ABS-CBN as he joins the cast of the afternoon series The Greatest Love.
In the Kapamilya series, he plays the role of Chad, the husband of Amanda (Dimples Romana) and the father of Z (Joshua Garcia).
It has yet to be seen, though, how his character will affect the lives of Gloria (Sylvia Sanchez), her daughter Amanda and grandchild Z.
Luis makes his first appearance in The Greatest Love’s episode today, September 13.
Luis started his career with GMA in 1997 as part of the comedy show Bubble Gang.
However, in 2000, he decided to transfer to ABS-CBN and played David in Pangako Sa ‘Yo.
After that, he played the third wheel in the TV series Sa Dulo Ng Walang Hanggan starring Claudine Barretto and Carlos Agassi in 2001.
He also did the shows Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas (2004), Vietnam Rose (2005), and his last Kapamilya project Gulong ng Palad (2006).
In 2007, he returned to GMA network and played a major role in the drama series Impostora starring Sunshine Dizon and Iza Calzado.
His other Kapuso projects included La Vendetta (2007), Dyesebel (2008), Sine Novela: Ngayon at Kailanman (2009), My Lover, My Wife (2011), Broken Vow (2012), Yesterday’s Bride (2012), Innamorata (2014), and his last GMA-7 TV series, The Rich Man’s Daughter (2015).
After finishing TRMD last year, he starred in a TV5 project, the Filipino adaptation of the Koreanovela My Fair Lady starring Jasmine Curtis Smith.
